More time between the announcement/invitation and the event. That’s unusual, usually it’s a week. I’m sure the people traveling to this event appreciate having more time to prepare. As for us, makes the wait harder!

I really don't see Apple doing mass production with titanium iPhone Pros, they sell too many. It will be a separate iPhone Ultra, like Apple Watch Ultra.
My thoughts exactly. I’m going to go so far to suggest that the ‘Ultra’ model will be limited to a single colour. Perhaps the titan grey. I’m most likely wrong about that though.

India and not China!? This would be a great disturbance in The Force!
Yes sir! I hope it's coming from India, not China. Multiple reports and sources confirmed this 2 weeks ago as production has kicked in at the production assembly plant full force..

Please let it be this year.

It’s a hybrid event now, so people (journalists) need the time to organise travel as you’ve said.

I'm going with Silver if I decide to pull the trigger. It would be the first time I've ever gone with a white/silver color iPhone. All the previous ones have been OG, black, jet black, space grey, or last year's deep purple. Time for me to show the Silver some love lol. Although, if Apple does surprise us with an Ultra that looks like that mockup based off the AWU design, I will buy that instead.

Every six months, I have been ordering extra lightning cables because my partner keeps thinking she has a corded iPhone and walks off with it still plugged in. About 10 months ago, I vowed to never, ever buy a lightning cable again, knowing that USB-C for iPhones are around the corner. I have been buying USB-C cables since (and I have plenty on hand).

We are literally on our last iPhone lightning cables - with one hanging on by a thread. Counting down the days!

I wonder how they're going to spin the USB-C port. Because you know they won't say "we're doing it because we had to."

They'll say now all iPhones have the pro features that demand a pro connector like Thunderbolt.

I'm pretty sure there will be no mention of USB C . If they do address the elephant in the room they'll say something about increased transfer speeds.
I don’t even know why this is a discussion that’s happening.
We seen them introduce a new port on the iPhone before.
We’ve also seen them transition a lightning product over to USB-C before.
It’s really no mystery how they’ll introduce it.
They even got an excuse, at the original introduction of lightning They said it would last them “the next decade”, and that’s exactly what it has done.
Literally copy-paste bits of what they said when the iPhone originally got lightning and what they said when the iPad switched to USB-C and you’ll probably be very close.
They definitely won’t ignore it, they definitely won’t over emphasize it, but it will still be notable.

The iPhone 15 lineup rumors already bored me. May change it up this year and get a foldable instead.
I've tried twice to move away from iPhone after feeling bored with them and I've always found my way back after a few months. Tried it with the HTC One M7 because I wanted a larger phone with FM radio and stereo speakers and that one had those features plus it looked Mac-like in its design. I finally switched back after the back camera broke internally on its own about 9 months into ownership. The second time was when the Red Hydrogen One released and that only lasted me a few months before I went right back to my iPhone X at the time. I'd love to see Apple make foldable iPhones but there is no way I'll make that kind of leap of faith again to another non-Apple phone. Just can't beat iOS and Apple's customer service.
