You can also die while wearing a seat belt, doesn’t mean seat belts don’t make you safer. Vaccines dramatically reduce the risk of spreading COVID. It’s insane to try and treat vaccinated people as if they are as big a risk as unvaccinated.

Second, there are some that are at risk of serious complications from the vax, such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, hence their refusal to take it.
And those people don’t need to get vaccinated, but the fact they can’t is part of why everyone else needs to, it helps protect the ones who medically can’t. People without a medical excuse are screening those people over too by refusing. Meanwhile the number of people who can’t is minuscule. Also the CDC has stated that people with a history of GBS can receive the COVID vaccine. Zero cases have been reported in the trials for the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, not to mention there have been hundreds of millions of people who have received the vaccines in the wild, this is probably the most studied set of vaccines in history, we know more about risks of adverse affects than probably any others ever given and the data continues to show how incredibly safe the vaccines are. There is no excuse for nearly all people to get one and there will always be exceptions granted for those who legitimately can not for medical reasons.

I know its a hard concept but there wouldn't be something to spread if we stopped the virus by you know having a vaccinated population.

I guess no one reads the news about variants being more deadly lets drag this on as long as possible.

People in this country have turned into "muh freedoms" and literally are cool with killing people in masse.

Lets just close hospitals to the un-vaccinated and be done with it. I'm over it.
Okay, you had me going there. For a second I thought you were being serious. I now realize this is a parody account and you are trolling us. lol nice work.

I can't believe this thread. If you don't want to get vaccinate, then fine, be that way. Then you just shouldn't be allowed to have a job where there are other people around you. You can work in those underground nuclear stockpiles. I don't care. Just stay away from the rest of the society.

Well, I had it back in February. Just had blood work done a few weeks ago. My doctor tells me there is no medical reason for me to get this medication because I am naturally immune. Given that he's a Johns Hopkins immunologist who knows me and my medical history and answered all of my pointed questions, I am OK with his medical opinion on the matter.
Good for you, now prove that for every other non-vaccinated person. With vaccines we have an easy way to know who is protected. For those who think they have natural immunity we don’t without testing them individually.

I couldn't agree more. It doesn't make any sense that these people, who don't believe doctors or science, even go to the hospital when they are sick.
It's honestly disgusting to say and think about but at this point if I've done the right thing to protect others I should have 100% priority to medical care.

Just had an old aquaintance spend a month in the hospital with Covid lost 40 pounds (I don't even know where he had 40 pounds to lose). Hes finally out and still totally screwed up medically and hes been thanking god and still thinks his wife and six kids don't need the vaccine because god got him through it and protects them.

I don't know what is more troubling, your statement or the fact that you think its okay. I would be curious about your thoughts on other people in society.

I believe in the vaccine too, but just for comparison... what's the death rate of Covid compared to getting in or being around a vehicle. Once you find out, you'll realized we should also ban all forms of motorized transportation.
No, what people with this logic are saying is not "we should ban all forms of motorized transportation". What they are saying is "...therefore, drivers licenses are useless and we should allow people to drive legally whether or not they ever get a license".

A co-workers spouse who works at one of these major tech companies - I’m talking one of the major ones said its like a ghost town. They have tonnes of masks and hand sanitizer, but there are no plans for employees to return full time for the foreseeable future. I feel like Apple wants to make use of Apple Park but the reality or gorilla in the room is its gonna happen anytime soon, especially with the Delta spikes; vaccine hesitation. I’m sure to the executive team its feeling we just wasted 5 billion dollars building this thing.

My view is the pandemic has altered work habits and work from home is just a reality that companies will have to accept. But companies have an option to say, well, if you want to work from home, we can also reduce pay and certain benefits too.

Why would I prove it for everyone? I've received a medical opinion from my doctor for my specific case.

It isn't my burden of proof. It's on the people demanding I do something to prove why I should ignore my doctor upon pain of cancel culture, I think.

You literally opened this can of worms with your first comment you rube.
Also, it's extremely hard to even take you serious when you sig says "Owning an Android phone makes a statement, and that statement is: "Yeah, this is where I am in life. It's not where I want to be, but I'm doing my best."
You judge people by the personal choice of what cell phone operating system they prefer... why the heck would anyone listed to you tell them to vaccinated.

Well sounds like you want us to completely lock the hell down like other countries that have just about completely eliminated this virus.

Fine with me. Bring on the shackles if it makes this stop.

Mandates are about fear and control not health. Not once has a US public health official talked about health: the importance of sunlight, fresh air, walking in nature, good food, exercise, healthy relationships, multiple-filtered water, cutting out majority of carbs, stress, anxiety, meditation, sleep, rest, feeling good about yourself. It's all politics and fear.

Let’s say you wake up in a room. There are two doors in this room.
Door A has a 1 in 10 chance of having a bloodthirsty tiger behind it.
Door B has a 1 in 1,000,000 chance of having a bloodthirsty tiger behind it.
There are no other doors.
Which door are you gonna pick to get out?
If you are smart you’ll obviously choose door B, because the risk is MUCH lower. Sure neither door is 100% gaurentee but you’d be insane not to take the safer option right?

Well guess what? That’s what the vaccine is. The safer option. It significantly reduces your risk of catching and spreading COVID (not to mention the effects if you do catch it). A vaccinated group is MUCH safer than an unvaccinated one. This is science. These are facts.

By the way, it is, in fact, possible to wipe out a disease using vaccinations. We did it with smallpox. So much for pipe dreams.

If you still think vaccinations don’t make us safer then you need to go back to elementary school because it means you don’t understand basic math OR science.

Or fat people. They should be fired to. Lets just keeping adding to the list. This new society that some little tyrants want to create is going to be awesome.
Since when can fat people transmit their condition to other people against their will and without their consent? What an asinine and pathetic attempt at arguing. Failure of basic logic. Sad.

It's amazing to me how many people are ok with losing their rights. Mandates, sharing personal information, etc.
Once you give that up you will never get it back. The government, establishment, and corporations will do anything to take away anything they can. If we all agree with it, they will continue pushing the boundaries.

I'm a vaccinated person and I respect people who do not want to be vaccinated. I am not taking future booster shots despite all the fear-mongering the MSM brainwashes us every day. Luckily, my job allows me to work from home but I would highly consider quitting it if my employer would force me to do something against my will.

100% false.
Preventing the spread of a deadly disease is absolute about health. It worked for polio. It worked for smallpox. It works for auto safety (speed limits, seat belts, stop signs).
The ones doing the “politics and fear” are people like you who deny facts and reality to sell lies instead.

Michael Moore made me eat a cheesecake!

I got better.

Should we close hospitals to the overweight? How about people who don’t exercise regularly? Or don’t take their pills as the doctor prescribed.

Who is at more risk of hospitalization- a 65 year vaccinated fat guy or a 25 year old healthy unvaccinated runner? This lack of empathy or compassion for others is so militant. It’s scary to see in others.

You've a lot to learn.
