Anyone have any issues using a gift card as a second credit card on a purchase?
I tried to and was given this error on the thank you screen:
But the order is still pending, I see pending charges on both my credit card and the gift card, etc. Don't know what is going on.

Finally found the "reserve" option -- AFTER I placed my order!!!
Afraid to cancel the order as I think it might place a pox on everything!

No i noticed that to, and if you look at the graph, applecare only extends it 1 extra year to a total of only 2, not 3
16GB model for me. I'll wait to get the 3G version later in the year or wait 'til version 2.0 launches with front facing webcam.

I took 8 minutes to order on my iPhone. The status bar wouldn't move. Try hitting refresh and just click on what u need and quickly add to cart

THey've added a "iPad" button at the top. At the home screen, the buttons are there in the code, just not visual

And no, I did not get a confirmation, but they may not send one out till they charge the card... That's the way my iTunes purchases work...
64GB 3G on order w case and VGA doohickey
I'll have to wait while you WiFi folks have all the fun on the 3rd, but I just gotta have some flexibility when I am away from a hotspot (or the free hotspots are choked with squatters)!
Got the VGA thing just in case I want to show off to a crowd with a projector.
Got the case cause I want it to survive in my back pack (and the propping up feature for typing or viewing looks like it might be nice)
Got the protection plan cause, well you never know, and I don't want to fork over >$99 at day 356 because a component failed.

499 + tax = $543 (taking New York as an example). Current exchange rate that is £358. you could bring that back without getting hit for tax.
599 would be £430 inc tax, so over the threshold for bringing back duty free
i'm torn. should i buy the 64GB 3G for $829, or splurge a bit and get a 250GB model with built-in camera, mac os x, flash support and a larger screen for $999?
Discussed by whom? You and the Apple higher ups? I'm willing to bet you it will have a Flash plugin at some point. Whether its later on this year or a 2nd generation iPad.

Just reserved a 16GB for pickup at the store April 3rd. Does anyone know if they put a limit on the website as to how many people can reserve to pick up on the first day?

They must be overwhelmed with preorders already -- I got my email confirmation of my reservation at the store immediately but still have not received a confirming email for my preorder for home delivery.
