Apple will keep releasing bigger and bigger iPhones for a few years and then they'll release a new model the size of the iPhone 4 and call it "iPhone mini".
I hope I don't have to wait that long.

I believe you still don't know how internet commerce works.
Page 1 stories are for getting more "clicks and views".
In today's social media world, no one cares about facts but only cares about gossips, speculation...
a) this is a rumor site
b) the page 1 stories always have a greater importance. Yes, many (often most) page 2 stories are more factual, but also usually have much less implications (oh wow, a new safari beta release.... vs new iPhone is coming out!)
However, it is quite monotonous that we get these same stories virtually every single day whenever a new source or analyst perks up to get attention
I can't wait to see these phones.
Sorry guys, no 5.5 iPhone, only 4.7, the 5.5 iDevice will be an iTouch successor aimed at gamers w/o phone functions.
Show any leak of an 5.5 device with cell phone antenna cuts... Where is?
The 5.5 inch market still marginal, only offering from Samsung (the note 3) and other don't account for 5% of Android devices, but gaming market is another thing, there you have plenty 5.5 inch devices as Sony Playstation vita, gaming market is one which previously Apple fells short, first iPod touch 6 have an too small screen, on the other hand, iPad and iPad mini are too big, I've gaming on both, and nothing it's better than gaming on am note 3 or an ps vita, not too small not too heavy, the ps vita since isn't a phone its much better due it's battery life it's 3x larger than the note 3.This was what I thought at the beginning, but...If we look at the demand for 5.5" screen iPhone, it's crazy now. Apple won't make much money with 5.5" iTouch compared to 5.5" iPhone because 5.5" iTouch is too close to iPad Mini. 5.5" and 4.7" iPhones will f.cking kill all competitors...seriously. With ecosystem, screen size varieties, apps, secure, more iOS openness, supports and services. Apple will once again rule the mobile phone...remember the day in 2007: "One Phone to Rule Them All"? Now it's again with iPhone 6: "Two Phones to rule them all".
4.7" seems like a too small size and 5.5" seems huge with that huge and outdated home button. Yet I am sure I will most probably end up begrudgingly buying one.
I expect more from Apple.
Especially in regards to design.
Maybe wait another month or so? There's still time. About a month and a half ago there weren't any claimed 5.5" parts at all (IIRC).WHERE ARE THE PARTS LEAKED that confirm the 5.5 iDevice it's an phone? I ve seen none yet.
LOL.I haven't seen a single report that claims that a 5.5" non-iPhone is coming. On the other hand, many reports exist that point to the rumored 5.5" device being an iPhone.

Reports, like this one, and other rumors.LOL.
Did you mean reports or speculations?
So, where is the evidence that support the 5.5 iDevice it's an phone?Reports, like this one, and other rumors.
Speculation is an accurate word to describe a 5.5" iPod touch successor though.

To date leaked material points to an 4.7' iPhone (evidence the rf Windows) and an bigger 5.5" iDevice w/o rf Windows, do you have a single image leak in the 5.5 model having such rf Windows? Have it? NO.
Please, those self proclaimed analyst are like anyone here, all them just speculates on the 5.5 model, they bite Apple's bait, but missed one important thing : NO RF WINDOWS ON 5.5 MODEL, so no 5.5 iPhone, it's just an big iTouch aimed at younger consumers and launched just after Xmas...
So, Back your next argument on photographic evidence or just shut up, take advantage we are anonymous and no one reputation is on risk.
Some where Jonny Ive laughs...
......I have a 5.5" phone and if I am really honest with myself it is difficult to use in one hand.......
I have an note 2, and for one thing is good: play games and watch movies.I agree I also have a large phone GN3 and struggle to use it with one hand so use both.

This is phalacy, the proof charge it's on that no leaked part required by an phone proof that other 5.5 iDevice leaked part belongs to a phone and not to an iTouch. And where are the parts leaked that confirm the 5,5 iDevice is not a phone? I have not seen one yet.
----------
I see no 5,5 iphone there mate.
People don't realize that the mini is already a phone. With FaceTime voice calls over air you can already call anyone with an iPhone for free out of the box. Most people with iPhones have no idea of the power they have that comes no where else. A lot of it Apple can't promote without pissing off carriers. Even being able to stream all iTunes content over wifi and music even over the air. I have yet to tell someone about this that already knew about it.
If I were you I wouldn't get my heart set on a 5.5" it really makes no sense that Apple will make one. So the reason there keeps being "production issues" is because some fool is trying to pull a fast one.
I have a 5.5" phone and if I am really honest with myself it is difficult to use in one hand. Considering that Apple is about making devices that are easy to use and the best for the intended purpose it is highly unlikely they will make a 5.5" phone that is large and unwieldy. The large screen is really nice but also cumbersome.
So in short 4.7" I can definitely see this happen, 5.5" would be a sign that Apple is headed one way and I should stop buying their products.
The iPhone has enjoyed massive launch day sales on opening days for the last few years. I don't think they would want to take a step backwards and not release 2 new iPhones together and have separate launch day stats. They love that wow factor at the keynotes of having XXMillion iPhones sold opening weekend.
