That's ridiculous... Apple abandoned the grill look a few years back. An look at all those crevices! Is that even a unibody?!?!

That will be the following year, iEd will be 25% thinner and you won't be able to refill the ammunition, you will need to take him to an Apple store for that...:D

Steve is going to announce the new iPhone with a previously shot announcement video.

It's a Nether Portal so we can see Steve again! He's gonna announce some amazing products, then take lucky smug Samsung fans and execs back with him to the other side.

The products will be SO AMAZING that we won't even be interested in Apple bringing back the dead.

Mother of All Keynotes

I'm predicting the Mother of All Keynotes.

At some point Apple will need to demonstrate, in a very complete way, how all their hardware and services work seamlessly together. This may be the time.

If by some miracle Apple sorted out the mess of TV content deals, this is my pie-in-the sky prediction:

Massive 2 hour+ keynote featuring:

Hardware:

- New iPhone in 2 sizes

- iWatch in 2 sizes

- iTV in 2 sizes

Services (US for now):

- Mobile payments: Use iPhone/iWatch with VISA/Mastercard account at shop at major brick & mortar retailers.

- Television: Full Internet TV service. Breakthrough UI (see below).

- Health tracking via iWatch. Linked to all major healthcare providers.

- Home automation (Door locks, garage doors, lights, etc).

- Continuity between all Apple hardware (including iWatch & iTV).

Standout technology:

- Air gesture driven iTV (no remote).

- Wireless charging for iWatch.

- Daylight viewable screen on iWatch.

Show ends with dramatic demo of a person going through his day with his iPhone, iTV, iWatch, iPad, and iMac all working together seamlessly. Highlights include:

- Cool home automation tricks (locks front door after leaving home, AC adapts to weather forcast)

- Healthcare features (doctor alerted via iWatch of minor health emergency)

- Watches a live sports event on iPhone at lunch. Pics up recorded version at home on iTV.

- iTV much more than just a television but a gesture driven computer and next generation media center (Health-linked fitness, AAA games, streaming music, new generation of gesture driven apps)

- All devices in perfect sync (documents, health, home appliances, entertainment etc).

It'll be glorious.

Or, the keynote will last 15 minutes and they'll just announce Ping returning to iTunes.

iED will also use 50 caliber rounds, but they will contain a small groove along the side for a "unique" compatibility with iED's barrel rendering all other cheaper 50 caliber rounds useless... unless you go out of your way to hack a groove into each round.

A giant Mac Pro vending machine? The frozen head of Steve Jobs? The SIM cards from every iPhone ever made? A black hole?

I can't stand the suspense!!

Aside from the new iPhone and possible iWatch (both of which I'm ecstatic for), I'd like to see:
  • Refreshed AppleTV
  • Refreshed Mac Mini
  • Refreshed Thunderbolt display
But who knows what this crazy structure could be!

Don't forget they might save the new macs for the October iPad event :)

The building is pretty sealed off..

Image

Who cares! Just get a drone with a buzz saw on the bottom and have it land on the roof - then have it cut through the roof, fly in, take recon photos, and fly out. Just in case it doesn't make it out, have the photos be uploaded automatically.

(Incase you people can't tell, I'm kidding. But if you want to attempt this, go right ahead - it'll make for a great news story. If someone is crazy enough to do this, I'm not responsible for your idiotic and (most likely) illegal actions.)

This is the first rumor that's ever impressed me in 8 years on this website.

Well done, MacRumors.

With all of the rumours preceding and announcing the iPhone, iPad, and computer and software changes in 8 years the one thing that impresses you is an unknown structure wrapped in vinyl?

Really looking forward to the 9th September, iPhone 6 in two sizes and maybe an iWatch will be announced. I can't see there being anything else, it would take too long on the keynote which tend to last around 1-2hours long. iPads and Macs will probably be announced at the October event.

Keynote's usually too long for my schedule lol given it gets close to my kids bedtime :D here in the UK I usually end up skulking out to the kitchen to watch to stop being ridiculed for being a nerd...

One of these, with the apple "leaf" as the Gnomon (the little hand thingy that casts the shadow), like the invitation:

I see a massive disappointment ahead when Tim Cook switches over into this magical massive structure to present:

ANKI AIR - Robot Planes... :(

Its part of the fun in being an Apple fan. The little scavenger hunt they send you on every time a new product is being released. Keeps people involved until the unveiling.
