Strange how Apple seems to be pulling out all the stops for one single event. They really are going all in on this pre-holiday season without a need for spacing out events. And they still might follow up with October event too!

That's because this will be THE big announcement we've been waiting for all the years, and it has nothing to do with iPhones.

The xMac is finally here!!!

Introducing iEd, home perimeter security

That's ridiculous... Apple abandoned the grill look a few years back. An look at all those crevices! Is that even a unibody?!?!

And what exactly is the xMac going to be?

It's obviously the "iFeltower".

Tim Cook will simply rebuild all landmarks of humankind, including the 'iPyramid" (the new MacPro design), the "iTajmahal" (a bigger model of the iPod) and of course the biggest sounding headphones "iBeatsMe".

This is actually what I really think the structure is about.
Dr Dre will present a set of headphones that you can buy for 29,95 but you cant carry them away.

So we all share the listening experience via "iSoundGreat", the new global music service. It will play a shared playlist from iCloud 24/7 submitted by all the people.

Are you really that sure? There's no way that white structure is large enough to cover the Flint Center lol.

Yes, as sure as I can be without being there. The second photo posted to this thread makes it quite obvious, even if you don't look at the aerials.

They are building a big Sundial underneath there to match the "shadows" on the invitation.

Edit: I got my placement wrong, it's still beside it just in a different location.

Theres no room to put a new building next to the flint center. And if you look at one of the photos it shows a worker standing in the center of the sunken garden. Which is right next to the Flint center like on this map :

Time to clear my schedule September 9th. . .

I really hope this event lives up to all the hype.

I had already done that.....

But then an incredibly important meeting for a proposal I'm working on got scheduled at 11 AM CST.....

I'm hoping its over quickly and I can run to the nearest place with WiFi to sit and watch on my iPad or Macbook Air. Ha, maybe I'll go to the Apple Store at the mall and watch it from there. That would be fun. :D

Interesting that Jim Dalrymple is already in Cupertino. He tweeted this about an hour ago:

Jim Dalrymple (@jdalrymple) tweeted at 12:42pm - 28 Aug 14:

Holy **** people, hang on to your hats, this is going to be a wild ride. (https://twitter.com/jdalrymple/status/505047719463763968)

Also interesting that John Gruber has been quite for several days. Perhaps they've been given early access to stuff to review?

Aside from the new iPhone and possible iWatch (both of which I'm ecstatic for), I'd like to see:
  • Refreshed AppleTV
  • Refreshed Mac Mini
  • Refreshed Thunderbolt display
But who knows what this crazy structure could be!

I would buy all 3!! not the phone or the watch, well maybe the phone.
