It isn't going to be a fake home. The rumors massively underestimated how large the screen on the new iPhone is going to be. Current estimate is 4032 inches.

That can't be right. I did the math and the pixels don't scale properly.

Wouldn't it be funny if the announce something which the press never even knew about such as a car lol

I wish. Sometimes I feel like I should stop reading rumor sites, because it spoils the surprise. I used to read movie websites, but I stopped for that same reason.

On the other hand, I have taken some good stock-buying hints from the rumors in the past. If I had money right now, it would all be in NXP stocks for example.

Where on the campus is this structure? There doesn't seem to be much open space in the immediate vicinity of the actual venue.

Strange how Apple seems to be pulling out all the stops for one single event. They really are going all in on this pre-holiday season without a need for spacing out events. And they still might follow up with October event too!

I actually had thought that possibly Steve would have recorded a video for the iWatch or whatever it will be called. No matter what...this is going to be huge. I can't wait!!!

Wish we could say more, instead heres Steve. Then the hologram Steve comes out ala tupac.

The building looks like a stage to me - the white bits are covering the speaker stacks and the screens. Given the slogan - "Wish we could say more", they've clearly managed to re-animate Michael Jackson, who is going to be performing a rendition of his duet with Paul McCartney, Say Say Say.

There you go, all discussion can now end.

The least likely though craziest thought would be a Apple TV/iWatch/iPhone/Macbook/iPad Announcement...

Would that make it the best product line in 25 years? :apple:

Possibly some sort of gym facility that will allow people to test the heart rate monitor, blood oxygen, calorie burners and step counters on the iWatch/Band?

It's the Borg's ship, disguised as a new product, the iCube...

Its going to be a a fake home to show off the home automation features of iOS8/the watch

Actually I was thinking that it might have something to do with showing off products. If this is the standard college auditorium there isn't likely a huge atrium etc to set up demos. especially one big enough for a couple thousand attendees etc. So Apple could be building their own.

And yes a fake home to show off home kit could be part of it.

If they do announce the iWatch then they've done an amazing job at keeping it a secret with no parts leaked at all. Fingers crossed.
