Amazon's cards honestly aren't bad - you've got either 5% back, or the installment/monthly payment plans for bigger purchases.
Yes, I buy most of my bulk foods from Amazon (pea milk, soy milk, almond milk, golden berries, canned salmon, excellent NZ Manuka honey, and such, as recurring purchases each month. That 5% back nets me around $35-50 per month. Its really quite a good Card offer.

Errrr... so I did my MBP on 12 month installments and I think it's only giving me 3%. Hope that changes.

Edit: Nvm, I got 3% on the taxes, but I just checked and the rest of the Apple Cash comes upon shipment with 12-month installment purchases. Hopefully 6% of the purchase price hits when it ships.
Not looking good so far. I may have to reorder and then take a delivery delay unless I get one early in store.

Update: Cancelled for Costco ($50 off new MBPs, $80 off AC+, 90-day return)

Just tried to buy something on Apple.com with my Apple Card -- still giving me just 3% cash back. So, no idea what they're talking about with 6% back. Maybe only brand new accounts are getting the deal? Dunno...

6% is for online ApplePay purchases from the Applestore for new AppleCard Customers only. According to Apple

Has anyone received the 6% cash back on the AirPods 3? I ordered on launch day and only received 3% cash back, however the charge is still pending. So fingers crossed it may change. At the end of the day we’re only talking a $6 difference though.

ordered two apple watches series 7 on launch day they just billed today and are preparing to ship........only 3%

Yeah that is not true according to what I was told yesterday from apple card..I signed up yesterday instantly approved, I did not order the macbook pro yet(I have to trade in my old one first) and I had two people tell me the 6 percent was a mistake, it should NEVER have been done, for those who were lucky to get it, they lucked out, but its always been 3 percent and will continue to be 3 percent

Just got this message, and I've already received the "Balance Adjustment" they mentioned:

they post only after the item is shipped? mine didn't ship yet, and I don't see the charge yet.
Mine is delivering on October 26, and so is shipped. Apparently they are honoring the 6% and are posting a statement credit for 3% in addition to the 3% Apple Cash. The charge is still “pending” but it came through on Wednesday for me. The credit posted today.

So when you click "here," it takes you to the second photo. Second bullet would apply to us.
Does this help? Or have I given you what you already know lol?
Looks like Apple have updated the support pages for ALL countries to be the same.

For all 9 countries listed: Macs (along with the previous iPhone/iPad/AWatch) can be extended after the initial 3-year AC+ plan you have bought. Hurray!

So hopefully that finally clarifies the issue for buyers of new Macs.

Nice! Thanks for the heads up. That’s definitely my plan; save the $100 on the first 3 years and then move to the annual
