I don't like Citizens because I don't think they have a way online to pay off the balance. On VZW, you click a few things and you're paid off and ready to trade. I always pay through VZW but pick up at an Apple Store. VZW seems to always lose the trade, and we have to go through contacting everyone until it is finally fixed
They don’t. Have to call every time. Such a pain. I don’t trust VZW either. I’ll stick with Apple and I’ve used Swappa for a long time.

Not necessary. Every card has its perks. I have four I use for different things. The Apple Card definitely doesn’t make me feel like a Baller (cause I’m broke). It’s just the easiest to use, especially digitally.
How is it easier than any other credit card you store in Wallet? I will say, echoing another reader, it is easy to pay rapidly. But other than that, eh. It's just a credit card.

Well for one it shows me my card balance and weekly activity right in the wallet app. Also allowing me to tap a button and pay whatever balance I want from the app.

Sure it’ll show recent purchases with my other cards but that’s it.

And it is just a credit card. But it’s a credit card that will work better for Apple purchases. Like I posted above, I have 4 different cards for different spending and perks.

I wish there were a perk where we had exclusive access to Apple products. Want a new M2 Air? Doesn't matter if they show "out of stock" on the website--if you have an Apple card and use it for the purchase, Apple has you covered. Basically, inventory set aside for cardholders.

Nothing gave me more satisfaction than using Apple Pay from my watch in Ginza Japan store last month. When I showed my card (passed it around), I had the attention of all the employees, none one there had ever seen one before. ❤️ mine!

Mine has never even left the card folio I put it in when I received it. The physical card has literally never been used. lol

Well, the Green, Gold & Plat AMEX cards are charge cards, not credit cards, meant to be paid off every month.
They used to be - til Amex introduced the pay over time feature. Now you can carry a balance and pay interest like any other credit card out there.

Well wait, wasn’t there an article a week or so about some investigation by some agency regarding resolving customer issues??

Regardless, I’ve had the card for I think 2 years and am very happy with their customer service the few times I inquired
Yeah and I’m one of those people. Been in dispute hell for about 5 months now. Someone stole my card number. Used it for an online transaction for $450. It was for a “service”. I disputed and lost somehow. I’ve since proven that the company it was used at doesn’t even have the recorded transaction or use Square which is how it was ran. The evidence they have against me is literally just showing the card was used nothing else. Insanely frustrating.

They are still charge cards, since they have no limit. Pay Over Time, I believe you have to pay them in a certain time frame, limited to certain charges (vs total balance of a credit card) and that option is not available to everyone immediately. I've activated the option but never used it on my Plat card.

I never said AMEX didn't have credit cards. I said that the Green, Gold & Platinum cards were charge cards, specifically. It seems people don't know the difference.

Blue Cash Preferred is a credit card.

And that is not a Green, Gold or Platinum card. I have the Blue one also though never used anymore.

I have never paid off a card quicker than this one for two reasons. 1. It's on my phone and easy.
2. It's expensive if you don't. The only thing I buy in installments is Apple stuff which is 0% interest and
I only use Apple Pay on the watch in stores or not at all.

To be safe, I waited a year. During that period, they automatically increased it by 500. But you really have to use it a lot. They want to see utilization. I use it for pretty much everything.
I've had a Chase Sapphire Preferred since June 2016 and I've never received a credit limit (it's been over 6 years and nothing! so I should probably call to ask) but my other 2 Chase credit cards have had automictic bumps but not since early 2017

Actually, Apple dropped from second place last year to third this year. NFCU took first both years, and went from just a two point lead to being 33 points ahead of Apple.

Check the full chart at the bottom of jdpower’s report from either year and you’ll see the following scores:

2021 Navy Federal Credit Union: 866
2021 Apple: 864
2021 USAA: 860

2022 Navy Federal Credit Union: 876
2022 USAA: 860
2022 Apple: 843

For whatever reason (probably because Apple bribes JD Power to give them an award), JD Power goes ahead and gives a score to both NFCU and USAA, but then adds a footnote saying that “Brand is not rank eligible because it doesn’t meet study award criteria.” What criteria is that? It’s never specified anywhere. Presumably it’s pay-to-win. NFCU and USAA don’t pay, so Apple wins as the best scored company that does pay (the bribe) for the “award”.
