Apple Card Rolling Out Today to Limited Number of Customers

Got the email. Go to sign up... hit the continue button and get the pop up “Apple Card Unavailable”. “Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later.” Been trying for over an hour. Anybody else getting this???

Wont work... the card that is popping up asking for CSV isn't even on that list because it's not added to my phone. That's the issue...

Perhaps that’s the card you put on iTunes? View your Apple ID in iTunes to check.

I do know Apple Pay keeps reminding me to add the one I updated iTunes with.

Damn, I have had to do this before...I just cannot remember how it was done. I eventually had to call Apple Support, and I thought it was through iCloud, but it could also be through your AppleID at https://appleid.apple.com/. If you cannot find anything in your AppleID settings, I would call or chat with Apple Support.

:apple:
Interesting... I went to https://appleid.apple.com/ and it shows my phone 3 times. One prior to the beta having the bad card on it and 2 on iOS 13 that seem to be duplicates of each other. On the phone with the bad card, I tried to remove all payments from it but it doesn't seem to be doing anything after it processes... Getting closer though!

EDIT: Even after removing the duplicate of my phone that had the card listed, it still prompts me for it in wallet (after a hard reset too)

Got the invite, just signed up, 20k credit limit and card in the mail. I wasn't going to sign up initially until I saw there is no transaction fees and literally all my other cards have a foreign transaction fee. The whole process was less than 5 mins

Well you've now got the highest limit of anyone on this forum at least.

Nice! Good work. Whats your apr?

Is there any way to get a downloadable (PDF or similar) statement from this card? I usually keep 2-3 years of credit card bills for my cards in case there is a dispute, warranty case or similar.

People that have applied, does it do the hard credit pull before or after you accept the offer?

Only affects credit score after you accept terms and SL.

As I said in another thread yesterday, I don't intend on applying until early next year after I have some bills paid off. Once I have the option, I'm actually tempted to see what I'd get since it doesn't affect credit score until one accepts terms, BUT I do have a question:

I vaguely remember seeing something about having to contact them if you change your mind. Is it true you can't do the setup process again through the Wallet app if you change your mind later, or did I misunderstand what I read?

The Apple Card application experience is the best in the payments industry. Apple will have about 67% of iPhone owners using an Apple Card with Apple Card top-of-wallet default. The skeuomorphic card has an mazing heat map that changes color as you spend in different categories.

The iPhone install base in the US is roughly 193M. This would mean over 120M people sign up for Apple Card. I think this is overly optimistic. Sure the app is nice and all and the color changing card heat map is cool for like 2 seconds but I don’t think that will get people to sign up if they’re happy with the card they currently have.

I am quite happy with my current credit card lineup, and I don't see any reason to compel me to apply for the :apple:Card and further expand the number of cards that I must manage.

I'm already happily a part of one minority (being gay), and I guess I'll also be in with the 33% minority of iPhone users who won't have an :apple:Card. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
