Still nothing here in Wallet and the link says Apple Pay Services Unavailable. Blah. I signed up on Day 1 right away for the notification.

Unmatched security, no fees, 3% off Apple purchases, daily cash back are some of the reasons.

Those and more have been posted many, many times in various Apple Card threads over the past month or so, which you haven’t been following.

none of which is really that different than many other cards especially if you use them via Apple Pay.

I think that folks are excited more because Apple is jumping into such a 'standard' service. I mean if the point was just the app they could have worked that into any AP connected card. but to make a card, that's huge. a lot of folks on different forums etc are pondering if this might be a sign that Apple could get into cell phone service, internet service (and perhaps lead a push into fiber for all) and so on

showed up in my wallet no email / no message, was able to apply and approved, 5 min ago.

anyone able to ask them to ship the physical card to a different address, i want to ship it to my work address, as i won't be at home to sign for if it's shipped via FedEx.

I just went to my wallet and applied and got approved. My credit isn’t the best so I was surprised I was approved.

Read earlier: I was the first to report the link working again and I got approved.

Maybe my opinion of a good credit score differs from yours. I’d think a good score is 720 and above. Not sure why the sarcastic comment was made. I’m over a 700 but under a 720. That’s why I was surprised on getting approved.

Your opinion is just that - your opinion.

I am. I'm starting to wonder if its my Apple ID (which is a gmail.com address).

I made the mistake of originally submitting my gmail address, which is not my Apple ID email. OTOH, my wife's Apple ID email *is* her gmail address.

But the invitations (or at least eligibility if you check the + button in the Wallet app; I didn't get an email invitation yet) are rolling out once again, even for those of us who didn't read very carefully.
