Good God... going to a Pride parade has nothing to do with development at Apple and anyone thinking the two are linked are idiotic. At best.
You're wrong, most of the Apple workers were in the pride with their Macs fixing iOS 12 beta 2 bugs.

Yes I’m sure. And you are too. We’d both agree that besides being a religion Christianity has a philosophy. Like any philosophy it dictates how you should live your life. It must be unique in some way otherwise we wouldn’t have a specific word for it.

Many things Christianity promotes can be found elsewhere. This shouldn’t be surprising as Christianity claims to be in accord with reason. It isn’t that you can’t find elements of a Christian culture elsewhere. It even isn’t that you won’t find people who live more in accord with the philosophy elsewhere. It is that a Christian culture will be unique in some ways because it is the underlying philosophy of most people.

Whether you agree with Christianity or not it should be obvious that a people who base their lives of off Christianity will be different than a people who base their life off of some other belief, for instance nihilism.

You can find people who claim to be Christians who will say anything. But it is dishonest to think that most Christians are in favor of murdering homosexuals. Saudi Arabia actually does murder homosexuals. It isn’t a Christian country. In fact no Christian country sanctions the murder of homosexuals.

Less than 200 years ago the U.K., USA and Australia executed gay people. One could argue they were a lot more “Christian” and god fearing back then. It’s campaigning by liberals that get these laws changed and you only have to look at Christian countries like Uganda and Russia to see how easily gay rights can be revoked.
And yes, most Islamic countries are even worse.

They executed people for a lot of things back then. The liberal campaigns that ended harsh punishment were Christian.

Despite being Christian conservative "morality" that enacted such sentences.

There are plenty of Christian liberals who support LGBT people and same sex marriage.

Marriage, the most elementary and useful of all, must be regulated and controlled by the sovereign power of the state. The purity of public morals, the moral and physical development of both races, and the highest advancement of our cherished southern civilization, under which two distinct races are to work out and accomplish the destiny to which the Almighty has assigned them on this continent—all require that they should be kept distinct and separate, and that connections and alliances so unnatural that God and nature seem to forbid them, should be prohibited by positive law, and be subject to no evasion.

Kinney Vs Commonwealth, 1878

How very Christian...

And what message is that and how is it bad for them?
That is God’s world family is a union between a man and a woman that are loyal to each other. I want my children to see this kind of world. Btw, rainbow is a Biblical sign of covenant between God and humanity. No wonder it is taken by Pride movement. Anyways, it doesn’t matter what we all think. My opinion will not change much. But God’s opinion changes everything for eternity. He said that family is a union of a man and a woman and I stand by what He said.

Who said? God? That's a speculation at best.

How can a straight person (guy or girl) work for Apple anymore? Imagine receiving a corporate email announcing the Apple’s participation in the 2018 LGBTQ parade. What goes on in the back of a straight person’s mind? “I really don’t want to do this, but I have a dream job, a family, a couple car payments, and a mortgage. If I don’t go, my career is goong nowhere. So, I have to bite the bullet and go. I have to take selfies with my boss and his boss and, hopefully, a few execs and post them on my social media to make sure everyone knows that I participated and had a lot of fun.”

What is this if not the new liberal establishment shoving their agenda down the throats of the people who hold traditional views and who want to guard their families from this new reality? Is this new reality for the better? Is the LGBTQ agenda a new Civil Rights frontier? Am I a bigot for wanting my eight-year-old son to appreciate the rainbow as a message from God in the sky and not as a message from the LGBTQ community on flags, shirts, watch bands, and watch faces? Am I wrong trying to keep him away from falling a victim to the LGBTQ propaganda like over 50% of American teenagers who have already fallen a victim to it? After all, over 50% of American teenagers identify themselves as gender neutral now, and this has happened to some of my nephews and nieces. Their parents (my siblings) now wish they had intervened earlier and not let the LGBTQ “village” indoctrinate their kids’ young minds. It’s too late for them now as their kids are experimenting with the LGBTQ lifestyles.

How delicate are you? Seriously? Do you also wonder what goes through a white person's mind when their employer says they support black people's rights?

I'm pretty sure he doesn't like when those 'rights' are artificially assigned higher value than they should. Not to mention the victim game.

Right, so first up, a rainbow is not a message from god - it is light being refracted by water droplets. Science.

Secondly. Seriously? You think LGBT propaganda turns kids gay? Because straight propaganda and homophobia for the first 18 years of my life didn't turn me straight, just made me want to kill myself.
I thought I read a statistic once that said that children raised in gay households are actually somewhat LESS likely to turn out gay than those raised in straight households.

I’m absolutely for real. I would not want to work for a company that officially participates in an LGBTQ parade just like I wouldn’t want to work for a company that officially supports a political party or a religious movement. In any of these scenarios, employees have to grapple with the corporate political or religious agenda imposed on them being in conflict with their personal beliefs.

I have no problem with Tim Cook participating in this event as a private citizen, but I absolity abhor his making this into the official Apple policy.

That’s fine. Apple didn’t compel them to participate but they wanted to go and Apple backed them up. If that really distracts you but you can’t see that you’re only feeling the way that gay people have been forced to feel for their entire lives regarding their careers being limited then turn down a job offer from Apple. Clearly you wouldn’t fit in because you seem to be proccupied with the sex lives of others.

Do you also abhor living in a country where people have equal rights? Perhaps you should move somewhere else?

It bothers you that Apple employees had the *option* to participate in the parade? You sound very intolerant and hateful tbh. I wonder if there’s something behind it?

Good grief, how do you even manage to get out of bed in the morning? The word must be such a terrifying place for you.

See my comment above, people are tolerant, accept others as they are, but when the media and law starts forcing them to accept that other parties way of living and beliefs, then that’s why people feel the need to say what they say.

Also your a hypocrite, firstly you give a lecture on freedom of speech, then advocate the restraining of Freedom Of Speech, all in one comment!

Poor you. You have to deal with and live alongside other kinds of people in America. If you don’t like the way gay people live, then don’t get into a gay relationship. As for the rest, just mind your own business instead of feeling some bizarre need to butt into others’ lives. Your freedom of speech is about criticizing the government without being arrested. It has nothing to do with you wagging your bony finger in the faces of otherwise happy people who frankly want nothing....NOTHING to do with you and don’t need your permission for anything.

I dislike it when the main message of a brand is undermined by political activists.

It’s tagged as a political discussion, and it doesn’t make someone an “activist” because they refuse to back down anymore and be afraid of their peers.

By a parade on a Sunday? That's a pretty ridiculous thing to be offended by.
I personally don't approve these parades either. Playing victim (aka celebrating 'rights') will never give these people respect points. I'm with Dave Rubin on this one. He is also gay and i respect him a lot.

Honest question for you: 1 Corinthians 6:9. How sure are you it speaks of Homosexuality? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're very sure because that's what your bible tells you, right?

But are you really sure that's correct? If so, how are you really sure that's correct? Again, going out on a limb and say it's because, well, it's in the Bible and it has be so. Right?

So, how sure are you that that's correct?

Here, let me help you: Here's what the passage talking about:

ἢ οὐκ οἴδατε ὅτι ἄδικοι βασιλείαν θεοῦ οὐ κληρονομήσουσιν; μὴ πλανᾶσθε· οὔτε πόρνοι οὔτε εἰδωλολάτραι οὔτε μοιχοὶ οὔτε μαλακοὶ οὔτε ἀρσενοκοῖται

So, now how sure are you about this being about homosexuals?

Iran wants all the bigots to move to their country. Iran embraces such people with welcome arms. After the Ayatollahs swear you into Iranian citizenship, you will all join together in a grand celebration of heterosexual superiority, which is capped with the grand finale…. some gay dissidents (imprisoned by the Iranian Republican Guards) will be thrown off the rooftops of Tehran's skyscrapers.

Well stated. Last I checked, the easiest means to not participate in someone else's life is to stay out of someone else's life. How hard is this?

They executed people for a lot of things back then. The liberal campaigns that ended harsh punishment were Christian.

Were they? Because a lot of those laws came from absolute rule, usually by a monarch of some type, who would cite the Bible as a reason and claim that throne as being ordained by the Christian Church.
