Right you are. Many Canadians are delusional. Those that are, still apologize for Trudeau. Face it, you elected the Obama of the North, but unlike Americans you actually had years and years of real-life observation of Chicago Jesus and still went for it.

Well then you did a good thing people of Canada! Obama was a fantastic president that will be missed.

What work is he starting to get done exactly? So far the only things I noticed was upsetting the British PM and getting a rebuke, upsetting the Chinese government, and being best chums with a man who is responsible for the death of thousands in Syria.

Trump is best chums with Obama? I doubt that.

Trump has done more than Obama has in 8 years and and he's not even confirmed yet.

This country will be in fantastic shape, ya'll will see. And no, the narratives being spread about him aren't true. Lol at these kookie college professors ranting about how electing him was an act of terror, etc. They should be fired for spewing that type of hate speech to their paying captive audience. It's sad. The vitriolic hate by the media has never been so incorrect. They are being so spiteful and are trying to create terror themselves.

MAGA as I play The Life of Pablo as I type this.

vocational education - the latter being one of the main reasons Cook has previously given for why most Apple products are made in China.

Unfortunately, very true. Not only is manufacturing cheaper in China, but I feel my community looks down upon vocational skills. I come from a fairly affluent community, so doctors, lawyers, CEOs, et al, are admired, while mechanics, plumbers, carpenters, etc. are considered below them. It's a shame. My parents had some custom cabinets put in their home and they're really nice. I really wish we Americans can change our culture to appreciate better people who work with their hands.

Say what you want about Trump but he at least is starting to get work done and he hasn't even been sworn in yet. Compare that to Trudeau up here in Canada who has been in power for a year and all he has to show for it are a bunch of selfies from around the world

Still bitter that Harper lost? Time you got over it. Bitterness isn't healthy.

I really don't care what Cook looks like in a picture. All I care about is that he pull is head out of his &*&*^*^& and focus on Apple, not political correctness, not the culture, not hate, not fear, just be open and accepting. Something liberals rant about doing, but somehow never seem to be actually able to do.

"Bring economic power back to the U.S" - America is the wealthiest country on the planet by an extremely large margin. What on earth are you talking about?

In what way is Tim Cook "acting like a ********"? Apple, and the tech industry in general, are the driving force in wealth building in America right now. So you want to punish companies that are actually making America great?? Not very bright. The best thing Trump could do is lower the re-patriation tax on monies earned in foreign countries. Something Tim has been asking for for a while.

You sacrifice economic power when you become a large debtor nation while at the same time eschewing (or out-right replacing with cheap imported foreign labor) your domestic blue collar workforce. That's not building wealth in America, that's letting the blue collar, lower-middle class rot.

Keeping hordes of cash in the bank (Apple, $200+ billion) while relying on foreign nations to manufacture your products cheaply (and raking in huge profit margins while doing so) isn't building wealth in America, except for shareholders.

Keeping hordes of money in off shore accounts to avoid taxes (which could be repatriated and used for maintaining national infrastructure, and the jobs that come with it) isn't building wealth in America.

I don't think Tim has acted like a ********, so I agree with you, but Big Tech isn't blameless when it comes to the current economic disparity going on between blue collar and white collar in this country.

I'm most definitely no fan of Trump, but I have to admire this kind of approach. It's very unusual, seems like a break in protocol from the norm, and he just want to cut red tape to help businesses do better in the USA. It'll certainly be an interesting couple of years.
And previous presidents never met with tech company leaders? Promising tax cuts is not very special feat.

This says it all really...View attachment 678143

Well it says not much since its just one frame however if we are to judge on that frame it would be Tim Cook is just looking like a douche for being is disinterested in what Elon Musk has to say.

Not at all, I think Trudeau could be a good prime minister but he hasn't actually done much of anything. The only politician I can't stand is Kathleen Wynne, and if she wins again I will be extremely bitter

He's conducting meeting's with foreign heads of State (with his daughter), he's attending national security briefings, he's meeting heads of companies (with his children). Despite what you say - he has started - and his children - who are running his companies should not be attending those meetings - anyone who thinks otherwise is either a moron or an apologist.

I am not "giving him a chance" - I am calling him out on corruption - which this is.

Pay attention, his children are part of this transition team. Once he takes office, they will not play a part in the administration, so he has said. It is really sad that you don't see that he is surrounding himself with the people he trusts, family. Who are themselves successful and already used to this kind of environment. He has no friends in Washington, not Democrats, not Republicans. He does have a bunch of people just waiting to assist in his failure.

I feel so sad that you cannot see the value in trusting your family and would not include them in the most important activities in your life if they were qualified. So sad.

well said.

Why on earth were Trumps children at this meeting??? Aren't they running his businesses??? Trump will go down in history as the most corrupt president America has ever had.

Wish we had Trump in the UK. Identity politics is probably even worse here and we have thousands of useless people whose job it is to win the grievance and victimhood Olympics and nag us for being thought criminals.

Trump's given jobs to thousands of people of all races, genders and orientations. Trump get work done. Best Prez ever.

Cook has been saying for ages that Apple keep most of their money over seas because they get taxed so much to bring it back to the US and the tax system all needs reforming. So now he is sitting with a guy who is trying to fix this and he looks so depressed. I don't get it.
