Apple execs probably need to take a step back and evaluate how this looks from their customers perspective (its great to have secrets and surprises of course).

Because if the company comes off looking like the Empire ensuring those secrets for a few months - its probably not a good choice, as it will damage your brand far worse than details getting out early.
agreed.
Apple was so much smaller before the iPhone launched. Sadly, that cozy 'little' company that could pull off amazing surprises isn't coming back any time soon. Apple should adapt to its new self, new size and new enormous supply chain and just accept that total secrecy will not be possible in the future.

Basically, they won capitalism and they have nothing to gain from publicly crushing a few leaker-losers.

All he does is gaslight people. I can't believe that anybody emailed him frustrated that his gaslighting memo from last week was leaked.

lol yeah right? that was my impression too.

If you're outraged over some Epic Games memo crap and you work for the company you're either a bankrolled executive or you need a life or you simply don't exist. Option 3 seems most plausible for most of the 'outrage'

I'm writing today because I've heard from so many of you were incredibly frustrated to see the contents of the meeting leak to reporters.

The grammatical error looks like a fingerprint.

Have they swept the Spaceship for bugs? You never know what those drones may have dropped during construction. :)

Too many people inside of companies looking for either fame or fortune for leaking stuff. It’s apparently just too tempting for some people nowadays. But I bet the people who leaked would be outraged if any of their stuff got leaked to the public…

I just remembered the article from The Verge about Apple forcing its employees, I think those involved with product testing, to use the work device as work and personal device... That could also be the reason these leaks happen...

Regarding the Apple Watch flat side vs rounded, at least 2 YouTubers, FPT and Max Tech, have provided credible evidence to support that it was not to identify the leaker but it was due to the manufacturing roadblock/issue they encountered with the new design which was the flat side version...

Not so nice to have your privacy violated, is it Tim? Perhaps though there should be monitoring of internal Apple communications on the off chance that there might be a crime.
An alarm would probably go off every 5 minutes.

What fame and fortune? Do you know the names of these leakers?

Tim looks Big Mad. He's like a guest on Sesame Street that educates you on the perils of Corporate "Espionage" and how massive corporations are people that have feelings. On topic - - > Leaking the leak: Totally über-amazing, and much appreciation to the beautiful soul/s that did this.

So there's no reason to believe that anyone stands to gain from these leaks other than Apple themselves.

I mean, that’s not true. You’re literally typing this comment on a website that’s sole existence is for the sharing of rumors and leaks. Not to mention, do you think people like Prosser, etc. are doing this for fun? There’s a whole community that gains clicks, ad revenue, money, etc. from the sharing of internal Apple IP

He looks a little salty for someone worth 1.4 Billion (with a B).

If I had that kind of coin, I would find a way to chill out. Like not worrying about rent, or a nice dinner out with friends.

If someone TRIED to look evil, they couldn't pull it off like this. He's almost Nixonian in his appearance

Tim Cook at work, sitting behind a 32" 5k iMac Pro M2x with Matching 5k Thunderbolt 4 Monitor, while interacting with angrily written text optically, on his Apple AR glasses...: I'm SO MAD! LEAKERS MUST DIE!

The rest of us, poor and surfing the internet on ancient Apple hardware for lulz: This picture of Timothy is hilarious!

Apple can use information compartmentalization along with differential access can catch the leakers.
