Everyone keeps saying that but I don’t see too many people willing to shell out 1500 for a phone. Even if you’re making 2x the National salary that’s still 2% of you yearly salary after taxes.

Well, that's about twice the price for the 8, and again, regardless of what people say, it's sales that count. It will drive the Apple haters crazy, but the low end of estimates is that over 200 million people will buy an iPhone this year. As they say, facts don't care about your feelings.

What a clown LMAO! Lines were small elsewhere. Of course he would go to the one that would have most people.

Look at that fake smile.

He's thinking whether he'll still get that year end bonus.

Yes, you’re right. But I somehow miss some honest reflecting within Tim business statements. This might be an example. Nothing else was expected, right? I appreciate though his political and cultural involvement.

You mean because he doesn't echo the pundits' guesses, comments and speculation about how the phone is selling, and who also don't have a clue about Apple's expectation for sales, he is being dishonest?

I wouldn't expect tim to say anything else.

Its pretty clear that the line-ups are dramatically down even from last year. In toronto you can walk in to eaton centre apple store and buy a Phone 8 - within 30 minutes!

People are waiting for iPhoneX? Maybe, but maybe not.

If iPhone 8 was selling in record numbers, Apple will release figures.

it only costs me $15 more a month than my 7 so why not?
$15 more? Granted, I'm not a heavy phone user but the processor in the 6s is fine for all that I do with it. I definitely don't see an additional $15/month in value of an 8 over a 6s, let alone a 7.
My iPhone 8 Plus's screen is super yellow...
True Tone, for the win! LOL

I just picked up my iPhone 8 from AT&T after initially ordering an 8 Plus from the Apple Store and I have to say it’s definitely a nicer looking phone than what came before it. I traded in a Matte Black 7 for a Silver 8 and the glass back is beautiful. The texture is much nicer to hold than the aluminum and while the phone is slighter heavier than my 7 I think it makes the phone easier to hold and type on. The display isn’t a huge upgrade but the true tone is nice. The camera seems to have better light filtration but I can’t tell if that’s related to the display or the updated camera.

Biggest reasons to upgrade include the wireless charging, faster processor and better camera. Not a necessary upgrade but it only costs me $15 more a month than my 7 so why not?
It's very brave of you to say something so complimentary about the new iPhone 8 Plus here on the Android Cheerleaders Forum. Congratulations on your new purchase. Now please leave so we can all go back to mocking and hating on Apple. ;)

Seriously though, congratulations. The new phones are gorgeous and I hope yours serves you well.

I guess Timmy was too busying partying and celebrating his pipeline to check Apple's stock price.

The market is not impressed and the reviews aren't good.

Its all bull crap unless he actually cites numbers vs. expectations or previous results. Apple Watch 3 sold out in many locations? You mean the locations that didn't have any to begin with? He's "thrilled" with iPhone 8 launch?

And then all the sheep bleat on about "more sales going online" and "oh its because of the iPhone X," but at the end of the day, nobody really knows except the people at Apple, and they aren't going to tell you the truth.

I am over the hype. I still like the products, but so long as the ones I have provide the function I need, I am not even paying attention to product announcements.

I doubt that Tim would say in a press release that he was unhappy with a product launch.

That the turnout for the iPhone 8/8+ is low compared to last year is not in question. The question is whether or not this is exactly what Apple planned for. I suspect Tim is being sincere and that this is all going as the emperor in Cupertino has forseen.

We know; you posted the same thing earlier. :)

It probably wouldn’t be worth it for most people but I’m not most people lol. I was initially going to get the X but after thinking about it I don’t feel it’s worth all the hype or wait. Next year I’ll pick one up when nobody cares about them.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve noticed a lot of hate here recently regarding Apple products and I don’t get it. I have what is probably the most hated MacBook Pro ever released which has been flawless and I have really enjoyed my equally hated iPhone 8 so far.

There was a line about 15 people deep at my store in Gilbert Arizona. I went inside and played around with one for a few minutes. Definitely worth the upgrade if you are on a 6S or older. The a was noticeably faster than my 7. I’m upgrading to the X.
