I hope Apple fixes that cellular bug with the iPhone too, I’ve had it for years. If I start a call on WiFi and go outside, it drops. During the iPhone 6 keynote in 2014 they said it was supposed to hand the call off.
Based on other reports, I was wondering if they asked everyone in the store to huddle up together for the picture.I suppose he has to say it, in reality there were only about 10 people queuing up at stores.
Cause I don't wanna wait! I was on the 6.The question is: Why does anyone buy an Iphone 8 Plus knowing that in a few months he can have the best phone for not much more? I don't understand that...

That'll be the Xs, also known as Apple Watch 4 (the eXtra Small iPhone).Cause I don't wanna wait! I was on the 6.
I'll update to the SEX(special edition X) when that comes out next year..
Meanwhile I have most of the features of the X right now.
I hadn't seen that issue on a 6s with Verizon or AT&T. Is this common? Maybe I'm not on WiFi calling at that point. I agree. But my point was then why even launch the 8. Instead do one thing really well instead of introducing fragmentation in the same generation of hardware.
It's a trap.I just picked up my iPhone 8 from AT&T after initially ordering an 8 Plus from the Apple Store and I have to say it’s definitely a nicer looking phone than what came before it. I traded in a Matte Black 7 for a Silver 8 and the glass back is beautiful. The texture is much nicer to hold than the aluminum and while the phone is slighter heavier than my 7 I think it makes the phone easier to hold and type on. The display isn’t a huge upgrade but the true tone is nice. The camera seems to have better light filtration but I can’t tell if that’s related to the display or the updated camera.
Biggest reasons to upgrade include the wireless charging, faster processor and better camera. Not a necessary upgrade but it only costs me $15 more a month than my 7 so why not?

I don't get it. Why on Earth would I want to update my ihpone 6??? It still works fine, the battery is good, the screen is bright. Why should I want to spend extra money to get a new phone that does exactly the same? There was a line about 15 people deep at my store in Gilbert Arizona. I went inside and played around with one for a few minutes. Definitely worth the upgrade if you are on a 6S or older. The a was noticeably faster than my 7. I’m upgrading to the X.
Just got my 8+, enjoy your "trap"It's a trap.
No that’s left to everyone on sites like this.I doubt that Tim would say in a press release that he was unhappy with a product launch.
Best is subjective in this case because the best choice between two excellent options depends on your needs and circumstances and your preferences. The iPhone X is not the absolute best in the eyes of every consumer.
Some people don't want the Notch, don't want the changes in the user interface that the new display and removal of the home button entail, don't want the price, don't want the wait, don't want the form factor at all, don't want OLED, even. Those are the reasons I remember reading, just off the top of my head, and if I weren't about to rush off to run some errands I'd come up with more.
I live in the US. car companies go by generations. A generation is kept every 3-6 years typically before a design refresh.Example? I can only speak for 1st world countries where the model's design changes every year or at most every two years.
I have a 6 and it is great! 11 brought some new life to it.I don't get it. Why on Earth would I want to update my ihpone 6??? It still works fine, the battery is good, the screen is bright. Why should I want to spend extra money to get a new phone that does exactly the same?

I drive a 2012 Civic. Just paid it off this year. No interest in ugrading because I prefer my cars design to their newer models.Example? I can only speak for 1st world countries where the model's design changes every year or at most every two years.
Which models are slipping? The 64GB unlocked version still says 1-2 days here. I'm wondering if people are upgrading for more storage more so than the actual features of the 8.Undoubtedly less demand with the iPhone X looming, but best indicator is order times since Apple has been actively discouraging lining up at stores. Order times on website are already slipping to two weeks for some models.

“Haha, some suckers actually bought it? Well, those are a few less people in line for the X next month, which means I get mine faster.” -Tim Cook (not THAT Tim Cook, though).
But in all honesty, the 8 doesn’t need to be a sales juggernaut, and it IS a good phone in its own right.
Some designs don't need to be updated every few years. That's the problem with certain technology and automobile companies- they keep trying to change things that don't need to be changed. No doubt he's thrilled selling people the same four year old design. Imagine if Apple sold cars without updating the design for half a decade.
We are? you stated car companies change designs every year. they do not. And the iPhone is not high end as everyone has it.You're listing economy/utility models when we're talking about high end. Name one high end car from BMW, Mercedes, Lexus or even Honda, Toyota, etc. that doesn't get updated every year or two years?
