Yes we are. You pay plenty of state taxes to control pollution.

We will continue to take more of your hard-earned money for our liberal benefits.
If trump had stayed we would have paid billions MORE than we already pay
[doublepost=1496369031][/doublepost]
And the states can do that just as well.
No. The states can't give out BILLIONS to other countries

China didn't have to lower its emissions until something like 2030 under the scam accord. They also didn't have to pay anything either but we did. Also china uses massive amounts of coal. How do you think all their steel gets made?
The agreement is fair to China, since it forces the US to pay more, since the US is the largest historical polluter.

You don't get to take advantage of pollution, and tell other people they can't pollute, without paying for it.

Of course they can.

The states can also forbid trade from other states that don't follow climate change guidelines.

Yea, I want America to be great again, like in these pictures pre-EPA:

Yea, this looks like a good world to live in.

Pretty sure all those pics were taken after the EPA was formed.

If its so unenforceable, then what's the harm in staying in? Worst case, nothing changes. Best case, we improve the environment. If we can't be forced to do anything we don't want to do, why not just stay in it?

Because it is a bad deal. It's bad for the economy of the United States. However, since the impending nightmare state of the environment seems to be of primary concern to many at MacRumors (tip of the hat to oneMadRssn for his hyperbole photos of doom just above), consider that this 'agreement' will do nothing for the environment anyway, because of the very reason you have stated we should stay in it. It's unenforceable, but that is the charade that is exposed when one looks to intently behind the curtain. It's all geopolitical theater and gamesmanship. There are no United Nations. This agreement was designed to transfer wealth. Because it is a bad deal. It's bad for the economy of the United States.

Looks like democrat controlled Detroit TODAY

Tim Cook should stop this political lobbying of his democrat agenda and start being a better CEO of Apple.
I really hate it when CEO's (like Tim Cook) abuse their position as CEO to lobby various political issues. His job is CEO of Apple, not political lobbyist.

I'm not disappointed because we all know he puts his lobbying before his job as CEO.
Your statements are both contradictory and not how any of this works. [1] Lobbying by CEOs is an incredibly frequent behavior - hell, Trump's administration has even kept visitor logs to the White House private so the public would have no idea who's being granted visits.

I've snipped the rest of your post since it's just a long rant about the same issue.

[1] This has been noted by numerous commenters in this thread (and every time that a similar article crops up), but it's still mind-boggling at how many take offense at Tim making political statements. Not only is there a suggestion that Tim has someone devolved and became incapable of multitasking, but it's also as if the commenters complaining suddenly develop some sort of acute myopia and ignore the world outside of what happens at Apple or what Tim says.

Why contribute your own money when you can grift it, right?

**** that. Keep it up Trump. Keep it up.

Correct.

You live under the rule of others. We decide what you get to do in this world. That is why we tax you and take your hard-earned money for our liberal benefits.

That's the price of living in a society - you have to obey the rules of the people that control you.

Love it or leave it. I'm sure Somalia can use people like you that don't want to pay for their society.

Getting people to accept this is tough. Tim Cook and others just ignore this on their Democrat lobbying crusade.

Mr. Cook, there are a lot of things that are wrong for our planet. I find it best to just sit back, eat some Cheetos, and wait for the idiots to see their idiotical decisions blow up in their faces.

Fine. If you don't love what trump did then leave :D

I personally find it best to attack these people wherever they are, to force them to defend themselves to lolzy lengths.

Also, I like taking their hard-earned money for our liberal handouts. They work so hard, and we take their money. Those suckers.
