He's been antagonizing for a while now. The only reason I'm replying to him is that he is a "like" machine for me. I blast his posts and and my likes are going up. It's awesome. That's a well thought out and rational reply. How very democratic of you.![]()
If you think the refugee problem is bad now think how bad it will be when a billion people are displaced due to rising sea levels and record droughts.
All these CEOs should have encouraged Obama to push this to the senate. That is how our country does treaties. Any treaty one man does is undone by one man (or woman). Obama decided he should do this on his own without turning it over to the senate, so he made certain that any president that wanted to could withdraw. So here we are.
No spoilers I'm only on page 4.He's been antagonizing for a while now. The only reason I'm replying to him is that he is a "like" machine for me. I blast his posts and and my likes are going up. It's awesome.
I am using an old iPhone. And when it breaks that's it. I'm not shelling out $1000 for tech that was innovative 4 years ago in Samsung products.
And neither do you.This. People literally have zero idea what is coming. Zero. This is part of my "perfect storm" that I believe is coming. Billions of people displaced due to rising waters will lead to a refugee crisis unlike anything ever seen. Governments desperate to protect their resources will lock down all dissident thought and activity. Wars will break out over water. Then, we'll get some large scale massive disaster (say, Cascadia fault rupturing) which pushes powerful countries like the US over the brink. Everything quickly slides into chaos and petty warmongering.
The economy does NOT revolve around spending money. It revolves around producing goods/services. Trading them makes people produce them more and produce them better. It's a lot more complicated than I can understand in the short term when you're looking at what's built on top of that, but that's the foundation. High spending is usually a sign of a good economy, but besides short-term issues like inflation and debt that could hinder long-term growth, spending money on useless stuff (certain bureaucrats) does nothing but move wealth around unless that somehow spurns more production.Since when is "not spending money" better for the economy?
You DO know that the economy revolves around spending money, right?
Tim really pushed hard. A letter posted on the internet? Wow. He should have pulled out the big guns: pretty please with the sugar on top.
In all likelyhood Timmy and the other Apple execs had a plan for getting their hooks into a piece of this tax payer funded pie. I guess he will just have to settle for the billions they will make on the new $1000 iPhone coming out in September.
better to be prepared than clueless. And neither do you.
It gets tough. It's like an onion...tje more layers you peel, the more it stinks. No spoilers I'm only on page 4.
Er, big oil supports the accordI'd save my scorn for the oil and gas money addicted Senators who sent Trump a letter encouraging him to exit the Paris agreement.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...-senators-paris-climate-deal-energy-donations
Twenty-two senators wrote a letter to the president when he was said to be on the fence about backing out. They received more than $10m from oil, gas and coal companies the past three election cycles.
LG baby.I'm guessing it won't be an Android phone either since Google is a California company
True to some extent. Think how many cargo, cruise ships we would need to produce. Not one of them registered or built in the US. Could not complete one car without foreign parts. The list is endless. Understand we owe everybody, if they wanted to punish us, no money to build all the stuff necessary to become self-sufficient. Then add a very long list of natural resources we depend on foreign countries, like Canada. Reality vs dream of being self-sufficient.
Well, considering the hyperbole your and others keep enspousing, I wouldn't talk much about others being clueless.better to be prepared than clueless.

The economy does NOT revolve around spending money. It revolves around producing goods/services. Trading them makes people produce them more and produce them better. Spending money can improve that or make it worse. High spending is usually a sign of a good economy, but besides being dangerous (debt), spending money on useless stuff (certain bureaucrats) doesn't help.
So it will be voluntary then. Good.Unless you can live without 80% of the products you use, like Apple products. Consumers will pay the billions in higher costs of goods. Meanwhile the rest of the world will get better deals and pay less. Every one of Trump's so called savings will be paid by us consumers, even the wall, if we ever get back too it. Good news, the very rich will be even richer, now that will make us all feel better.
LG baby.
He's been in 4 months and you're trying to spread hyperbole about being a third world country??? Grow up. Seriously. So high spending on things we don't need under Trump is better because I really don't see any changes in the trillion dollar debt or any job improvements as Trump preaches. Instead us moving us forward we are going backwards could possibly become a third world country at the rate we are going, heck I doubt he even bothered reading about GW he really did not cared and to say GW is a hoax than where are those scientists that are saying that it is a hoax.
What exactly is that rate? Please give us examples of where we were, where we are, and where we will be and over how many years so we can calculate the rate.So high spending on things we don't need under Trump is better because I really don't see any changes in the trillion dollar debt or any job improvements as Trump preaches.
