Are any other LGBT users here bothered by the fact that Tim Cook went to the inauguration while LGBT was removed with the federal site? Like, it's disturbing. I don't care how much I was being paid, I would not go to an event for a group of people that have removed my community from an official website like we don't matter. Considering how Tim Cook is a Gay person, he should have an issue with going to this event.

Maybe @BugeyeSTI and @Chamberlain312 will have comments about this since they laugh reacted to my comments about Republicans hating gay marriage? I won’t hold my breath.

You're right..powerful live under different rules.
You don't have to be guilty of crimes to get convicted with this new government. And you also can commit crimes without getting convicted.
No need to explain, right?
Sounds like the previous administration also knew you can commit crimes without being convicted. Do t need to explain that either. Right?

No please, no explanation. Reason enough to continue, I would say.....
I wonder how many will be convicted without having committed crimes.

Edit:
The basic problem seems, that “both sides” don’t have any trust or believe in the American justice system. That’s really worrying!

Please fill us in on what we missed. You mean like the staged "Confidential documents" they attempted to pull on Trump that Biden was actually guilty of? The expired NY misdemeanor they tried to escalate in to a felony? The GA case that was dropped? The two failed impeachments, one of which occurred after Trump was out of office? Arresting old ladies that walked through the Capital building on Jan. 6th after the police opened the doors for them, and they didn't even so much as go around the velvet ropes?

Please offer some similar convictions from this new government.

Whoa man ....
You believe all that?

I wish Trump had not accepted such donations. We don’t want the incoming administration to be encumbered by perceived obligations to such donors.

Maybe no one would consider $1M enough to be able to expect favors.
Have you been paying attention to how Trumpworld operates with pay to play?

I'm 100% with Steve here (I blacked out the inappropriate for the forum language)

There's simply no defending or explaining away Tim Cooks complicity here
He didn't have to support Trump -- he chose to

Whoa man, you're going to believe that never happened?
That confirmation bias half truth stew you posted… Absolutely, with supporting complete, not cherry-picked edited video, Legal filings under oath etc.
Change your news sources away from the fair and balanced planet far far away. Or not…Confirmation bias exists on both ends of the political spectrum. Makes all of us stupid and uninformed. Big media and those in power created these silos to influence and make large amounts of cash..

First of all: nothing personal here

As I said, no explanation necessary. Incredible that someone is asking for it. I mean, where on earth (or elsewhere) does someone get his/her information from? X? Tik Tok? Instagram? Facebook?
In this new and golden age certainly not those "damned" traditional media, right?

All this should be crystal clear, but obviously it's not. But I could be talking to a brick wall and that's spoiled energy. Hate that.

There's no way you can fight stupidity with words. The new government-star (Musk) once said on Twitter: "Truth has no defense against a fool who decided to believe a lie". He didn't tell, that his self produced and proclaimed "truth" can also be a lie. But hey, when millions believes him, it's hardly a lie anymore, is it?
Long before him Mark Twain already said that one should never argue with stupidity (or "an idiot"). "They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"

So, I'm afraid I just have to react in a different tone.....:
I say it is like this, so it is like this. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth...I swear to Trump and all his friends (and that's practically the same as God; the orange headmaster was saved by God, wasn't he?).
Simple, right?

".....staged confidential documents...."??
"....Biden was guilty of.....?"
Old ladies that where invited in the Capital building and then arrested? What where those police officers thinking?! Sure these officers were asking for trouble.
Luckily those gentle, poor members of Oath Takers and Proud Boys where pardoned by the new president. All is peaceful now. Too bad for those dead police officers though. And too bad for the American justice system (but that's about to become a lot better with this new government, right?)

I know...cocky, arrogant, perky, pedantic, etc. But that's something many people get used to these days. I just adapt.
Have a good day.

By the way...no need to explain, I hope.

One of those old ladies declined the pardon. Her words, “don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time”. I’m paraphrasing ofc.

You don’t plead guilty for criminal trespassing if you got invited with open arms. Innocent ppl don’t wanna stay in prison. But so are the felons/nut-jobs like the QAnon Shaman apparently.

One side always makes excuses for their repulsive behavior like injuring the Capitol police (ironically the same ones that have “back the blue” signs in their yard) and doing nazi salutes on Capitol steps while the other side crucifies themselves at the slightest chance they get.
I’ll let you decide which side’s the stupid and which one’s on crack.
