Cook is a smart man. This is why it's best for public figures to not join political narratives driven by the opposing party. Unless you are Elon Musk off course, then the cancellers can go make love to themselves.

Sure, an EU-type freedom to cross the border and work would be alright because Canada and the US have a good relationship.

Stupid Trump dicktator tariffs on Canada could work against a Poilievre-Conservative win in Canada if the 25% tariffs cause a lot of economic fallout.
Well, one thing he has a point on is that Canada isn’t spending nearly enough on defense to comply with NATO guidelines. NATO guidelines are that member nations have to spend 2% of their GDP on defense, Canada only spends about 1.3%.

And considering that an important platform of the CPC is NATO allyship and increasing defense spending, that appeals to exactly what Trump is looking for.

(Whether this is the best way to get what he wants is a whole other story)

I agree, Canada should be spending at least 2% of GDP on defence. I don't know why the current Liberal government didn't manage to do that.

I find it funny as hell at how all these big tech giant CEOs like Zuckerberg and Cook once hated Trump along with 99% of other tech giant CEOs. But now they are lining up to personally go visit Trump at his house in Florida so they can be buddy buddy with him ever since he won the election by a landslide.

The irony here.......

Perhaps because men like Trump like that. When they know you have to like them because they're the boss.

I understand the necessary evil of this. The other tech bros are kissing the ring, and Cook needs to remain on the orange man’s good side for the sake of Apple’s corporate interests … but it’s still wild to behold. Nobody was sucking up to Biden like this. This is some third-world ish we’re looking at. Buckle up, I guess. It’s gonna be cringe 24/7 for the next four years (at a minimum).
So you are in the "the adults are back in charge" crowd for the last 4 years?

They tried to incarcerate the man. They tried to bankrupt the man. They even tried to have him killed. And yet he stands stronger now than ever!
Stronger than ever? He's almost 80. He spends more time sitting than standing.

If you do illegal things your chances of incarceration increase.

He committed business fraud and was fined.

Two assignation attempts because he is very polarizing. Some people really like him, some really dislike him.

I wonder if they’re gonna give Inquguration performers Carrie Underwood, Gavin DeGraw, and Kid Rock banners on Apple Music and iTunes? 😂

Yeah, the man is almost 80 years old and yet he worked for over 60 days straight campaigning without a single day off. Show me anyone in history with that kind of stamina of any age much less someone who is almost 80. Trump has more stamina in his right thumb than Biden ever had in the past four years. lol

ever since he won the election by a landslide.
This was one of the more evenly divided US presidential elections. Out of 60 US elections only 7 have had a closer popular vote margin, and only 17 have had a closer electoral college margin.

I get it, you’re just repeating Trump’s manner of speaking about virtually everything with superlatives, with no care for facts.

This response is in such bad faith...Trump won damn near every swing state and even won the Popular vote lol Republicans also won the House and the Senate too...

All I will say is I will have my popcorn ready to laugh my behind off if after all of this ring-kissing Trump still enacts harsh tariffs on Chinese goods and causes Apple’s value to tank.
