What carrier did it ship from? I'm surprised you got it today because of Veteran's day. I was supposed to get mine today...no mail.

Yes...mine is the 14th-21, I called and complained about the processing after a week and they gave expedited 2-3 business days at no extra cost.
Mine went from HK to Memphis to my city in 2 days. I think it may get delivered to day if they do Saturday delivery.
Probably not... when's your delivery date? Once it actually ships it'll get to you in 3 days tops.
Mine came to my city too but I don't think it's going to be delivered today though.
Ordered black 32GB AT&T from Apple on the afternoon of 11/7.

Mine was on processing for 7 days. Now has been on Preparing for shipment for 2 days, going on 3. That is the part that sucks. It's apparently ready to go, but it's just sitting there, being "prepared".
What's worse is, if it doesn't get here by friday, there is a chance that it will end up sitting on my porch for a week as I'll be out of town. Which isn't so cool, because I'll just spend the whole time figuring it was stolen from my porch.

My shiny new 32gb 4S has been stuck on Lantau Island for over 24 hours now - or maybe the latest "In transit" status means it left. Anyone else have their phone stuck there for an extended period?

Mine is the same, except it was in that status from the 15th to the 16th. Of course it isn't even the 16th where I live yet, so that's pretty cool. My iPhone currently sits in the future.
I finally ordered my Iphone 4S i was on the fence awhile.. estimated 11/29-12/6 my birthday is the 30th so im hoping to receive it by then.
