Apple.com 1 to 2 week order status thread

Ordered my white 64gb around noon on 11/14, went to prepairing for shipment on 11/15 at 1pm. Got the email that it had shipped at midnight 11/16... deliver date on the 22nd...good luck to those still waiting

How soon are you getting your iPhone 4S?

I just ordered the iPhone 4S from the Apple Store, and it will be shipped to my house. It says the delivery date will be somewhere between Nov 30 and Dec 7. Are you guys getting your phones towards the beginning or end of the delivery date range? Just wondering if I can expect it closer to Nov 30, or closer to Dec 7.

Ordered on 9 Nov.
Expected delivery: 17-24 Nov.
But the latest notification mentioned delivers by 17 Nov.

I buy the looks of everyone's orders, depends on the phone model. My order had an estimated ship date of nov 28-dec 5. But my phone went from placing my order to shipped in bout 36 hours. My delivery date is the 22nd but the phone may make it here by fri 11/18. Once it's shipped, it moves quick...mkishnan an I are having fast shippment, but we both ordered 64gb white iPhone...so that may have something to do with it...idk
 
Mine is at the local Fedex sort facility 10 minutes from my house. If it doesn't make it out for delivery today, I'm just gonna drive over and grab it. Sick of waiting already.

What does "International shipment release" mean? Is that like saying "It cleared customs"? And what do yall think is the chance it might make it from Memphis to Jersey City, NJ TODAY? Hoping for a day early. Itching with anticipation. My 3GS took a swim in a toilet, so I've been phoneless for a week now. I got the shakes, man....

Yea, your phone just cleared customs...As far as is making it to ya today, depends if it made a flight to NJ last night...

Mine took a touch longer, but it changed to shipped overnight (ordered 11/15, changed to shipped the night of 11/17), with FedEx tracking number. Well, anyways, I was accepting of getting it after T-giving, but it looks like it will probably arrive before. I'm pleasantly surprised.

It's on it's way to my house! And I'm stuck at work! Oh, the humanity!
7 days from order to delivery. Not too shabby!
Next step: Get a waterproof case so if it ever takes a swim in a toilet like the 3GS before it, I won't be going through this waiting game again.

I should have done that. My wife missed my delivery yesterday, even though she was at home. Picked it up at the fedex place down the street after work though, so all good.

In other news, my order went as follows:

Ordered Nov. 4th.
Shipped Nov. 13th.
Received a day early on Nov. 17th.

Not bad. The wait seemed longer.
 
My white 64GB Verizon model shipped out two days after I ordered it. I was shocked. I think Apple's shipping time frame is a little exaggerated.

I reserved mine @ 10pm and picked my phone up te next day at 10 I the morning no waiting on anything

I can't speak for anyone else but when I go to the Apple Store.app to reserve a 4S, the only available option for reservation is the 32 GB one. As such, if I wanted either a 16 GB or 64 GB one, reserving it and picking it up in-store is not an option.
 
Got mine bout an hour ago...:) almost 96 hours to the min that I ordered to my home. Ordered around noon mon, got here bout 12:40 today...im impressed

It all depends on what you order. It's been posted in here a few times that 64GB are not as in much demand as the 16 and 32 so they're shipping out much faster.
 
I ordered my phone through Apple - 16GB Black on Wednesday 11/16 morning at 8am. I checked the status last night 11/17 and it said "Prepared for shipment." I received confirmation today at 8:50am that my item has shipped :)
