My guess is the only way this *doesn't* work is if you try to get Sprint/Verizon option because it's the only one showing and then try to switch to AT&T as it's a GSM network. iirc the GSM devices do not have a modem with them that supports both network types.

Is tmobile GSM or CDMA?
Actually the Verizon and sprint versions have both CDMA and GSM radios. It's the t mobile and att that don't have CDMA. And yes t mobile is GSM

I just secured 2 reservations in CT (one with gf's acct) in case the first one doesn't work! Have heard some walked away without phones because stock couldn't be "found."

EDIT: 7+ 256 matte b at&t
How did you do 2? It's saying I reached my reservation limit

Yes!!!!!

I wonder if I have to cancel my AT&T online order before they can process an iPhone Upgrade Program order... when I go through the flow on the Apple Store App, it says I have "no commitment" and allows me to finish the process. Hoping there is no snags in the store.

I hope they actually have these phones we reserved. Kind of nervous after hearing stories on the forums about people picking their reserved phone only to find out they didn't have the phone when they arrived.

Your tracker is freaking awesome, and you should be given an award. Used it to make a reservation and a backup reservation in case the first one falls through for whatever reason!
Good idea! Did you do those reservations at two different stores?

so question.... if I show up today to pick up this phone... do you think they will switch it to an att next contract? i truly dont want the iphone upgrade plan.

2 different stores in CT, with about 3 hour window in between. About 1hr apart distance, allocating extra 2 to factor for line and checkout time. I know some people said they had res' and found out their phone wasn't actually there.

If this works, I'll be so happy. Ended up at AT&T store in CT Friday morning because someone day before said there was stock of the config I wanted. Was first in line, waited 3 hours, and they waited to walk us in to tell us no 7 plus in stock. And up until that point we got treated so poorly.

If I can just walk in to Apple @11am and see this work? Wow, that would be great

From what we know, yes it should work.

I got that on twitter :
