lol created yesterday because, if you'd check my posts in other threads, I preordered with BB and got screwed over on launch day like many. So since I've been trying to find the phone I was supposed to already have in hand. I found iStock site on this forum after I joined and was posting. I also asked questions about the service that were pretty redundant if I was part of dev. I have posted on other topics, like the BB delay. I have posted a story and screenshot of an attempt to reserve the phone I am looking for. I created this account with my FB profile. My reddit profile is also almost 2 years old and active on many things and I posted the story about making the Alabama reservation there as well: https://www.reddit.com/user/TranscendingIllusion/ . I don't enjoy insinuations that I am misrepresenting myself, or a liar.Funny your profile was created yesterday and the only topic you've been talking about (nonstop) is this iStockNow site.... seems a bit suspect.

LOL, I'm done arguing with the guy... he doesn't get it, but it's fine, he can keep getting his news from AppleInsider haha... I didn't know MacRumors allowed competing Apple Rumor Site links to be posted.
Back on topic... so it's now 2 am and no change in the reservation page... don't think this is happening tonight. I was in Thailand when the pre-orders started (2pm their time) and in flight and the flight was originally supposed to land at 1:45 and was delayed 30 minutes. By the time I landed, I jumped on the Apple Store App and grabbed a Gold 7+ and a Silver 7+ ... the gold came Friday but since I wasn't on time the silver wont be here til the Sept 27-29 range. I thought I wouldn't mind the gold but it really annoys me... so now I need to find a second Silver 7+... now I'm left mingling with the commoners who didn't pre-order... life is so rough! HEHE
Your argument seems to be that Apple is artificially restricting output in some attempt to create hype, despite numerous articles and rumors of supply chain issues with high fail rates on components of the phone. You then went on to state, incorrectly, that Samsung doesn't face these issues despite their selling far more phones than Apple at launch. A claim that you haven't backed with any data.
Look, I'm eager to be proven wrong here, it's just you haven't provided any actual sources for your assertions other than your appeal to your own authority on the matter, which, strangely, I can't find a single article anywhere that makes similar assertions.
I have an OLED TV that I paid a pretty penny for. Only one company makes em right now and as great as the technology is, I've had to go through 2 panel replacements to get one that doesn't have as many of the common OLED panel problems. Why is it so expensive? Why, when it's considered such a vastly superior technology, does LG restrict supply to keep prices well out of reach of the majority of consumers, when they could simply churn out 100,000,000 in the next 6 hours (which is apparently, magically possible) and drive prices down and dominate the market?
I don't enjoy insinuations that I am misrepresenting myself, or a liar.
You don't get it. Clearly. Nevermind.

Simply making an observation that someone created their profile a day before and has posted nothing but comments pushing a site that doesn't seem to even be functional at this point and serves no real relevance other than to know someone 2100 miles away has a nearby store with stock of a model for 10 mins a day when said site actually works. But hey, just an observation, not an insinuation. Funny too when the same person responds in the same defensive posture as the actual owner of the site, during the same time when the owner of the site is actively posting the same defensive responses... surely just coincidence, I mean no insinuation.
Not the same thing everyone is waiting for. Some of us are unable to order online because they require carrier information. I don't understand why you have to hate on and argue with everyone in this thread. You are clogging it up and completely unhelpful to everyone. I think you need to leave now.The same thing everyone else is looking for ... an iPhone 7+ near me that'll beat my iPhone 7+ delivery that's on order.

I am in the same boat, has anyone been able to go in and say they wanted to do something other than IUP. I also want to do ATT Next.Just got a 7 plus reserved in MI. hopefully they let me use ATT next instead of IUP
Happy Bday!Ok, I am so excited, I just reserved a Black 128 Plus. Now, to make sure, I can buy this outright once I show up?

Oh I'll have to check back at 8 central to see if my stores go live. Didn't think to check if all the states live now are Eastern time zone...IUP went live at 8. Quickly scanned all stores in NYC for the Pluses and not a single black or JB anywhere in the city. I was able to reserve a rose gold one. The only thing is, I have T-Mobile via my employer. I have a login to the T-Mobile website but I'm not an "authorized" user on the account. Will this be a deal-breaker?
Randal the phones seem to be opening up at 8am local time. Right now only the east coast phones are showing up, you still have hope! Thanks for that link! I thought I was still on the iUP link checking... apparently not!
Still no pluses (or 7s for that matter) in Illinois...![]()
