i am just checking out this thread have my phone on my way but i think its messed up that apple has stock for the IUP program but not for the average joe. thats kinda messed up in my opinion. i understand IUP is priority and all but damn.
Tried to do this after 12:01am local time and the page never changed from "not taking reservations."

From what I can tell from the live map tracker, as far as that store in the middle of Indiana, places in Michigan, Atlanta are reporting stock but it stops at the central time zone for availability. If it's true that parts of Indiana are East and parts are Central, then this is a possibility.

I'd try this, and change the IUP to whatever in store.

IF i am able to reserve on the iUP reserve and pick up can i go to the mall and buy the phone outright?

The waves I was talking about. From my memory you can have a 0-3 hour delay for it to reach the WC.
We *should* see is spread east to west. (again from i6 experience).
Just reserved a 7 Plus 256GB Black AT&T!!! They are out of 128GB at 3 of my local Apple stores so had to get 256GB.

Your tracker is freaking awesome, and you should be given an award. Used it to make a reservation and a backup reservation in case the first one falls through for whatever reason!
I definitely jumped up and down with both feet like a little kid once my reservation went through. And I'm not ashamed one bit.

My guess is the only way this *doesn't* work is if you try to get Sprint/Verizon option because it's the only one showing and then try to switch to AT&T as it's a GSM network. iirc the GSM devices do not have a modem with them that supports both network types.
Is tmobile GSM or CDMA?
