I'm sure I'd have gotten the "system unavailable" message anyway. Nobody else here seems to be having that issue but I've tried on more than one device/browser with the same results.
 
So I was able to find a 7+ 128 MB at an Apple Store but it says, "available tomorrow." Has anyone had success with getting a phone that's available to pickup on the next day? I got an email comformation and I was able to set up a time and everything. Just wondering why it says tomorrow and I can't pick it up today. Maybe because they're getting a shipment of phones in tomorrow that they know for sure has a 7+ MB 128 in it?

Also, do you have to be there by the pickup time you chose, and will they drop your order if you're not there by the time? BTW, I ordered it through the apple store app and not the IUP reservation page.
 
OMG! I just got through the IUP system and have reserved a matte black 256 Plus on Verizon. The problem is that I'm not on Verizon and want to buy it outright :D
What should I say when I get there? If I give them my phone number they will be able to tell right away that I'm not on Verizon....
 
Am I the only one seeing no reservations available for anything?

Fill out all the stores near you, as well as the phone(s) you would want to reserve and hit submit.

Now, set a page monitor on the page. You will get notified if one of the phones becomes in stock.

I don't think that page works, it tells me there is a phone available but apple in store checker and IUP page both show as not.

Just scored a res at Bev Center. Stock just appeared through IUP search. Take a look. Hope you find yours!
 
I am not part of the upgrade programme but want to pick up a Verizon 7+, will I have any problems in store - I want to pay outright for the handset, also is it true it is unlocked? will be putting my company ATT sim in it.
 
How is everyone reserving a phone with a carrier they don't have an account with? Ex: I want a Sprint phone and I'm with AT&T. Won't let me reserve without a Sprint # and PIN. Ugh.
 
Finally was able to score a 7 plus!
Was at work (super busy in construction) but did the IUP link and istocknow.com around noon to check and found a 256gb matte black Verizon in Naperville,IL so reserved it and two hours later after work it was in my grimy dirty little (well big actually! ;)) hands! I had previously checked a few times with no luck earlier so I guess they replenish stock a few times a day?

I'm on T-mobile and got sick of waiting, so I'll pop my sim in there and hope for the best,lol.
Nice easy 10 minute no questions asked in and out, paid in full, and got the heck out of there in case they changed their minds!

Drove an hour and a half to the Salem, NH store for my 11am reservation. I ran into some traffic so I actually showed up around 11:20. The guy I got was super cool, asked me how I wanted to purchase, I said outright. He went to that other checkout section of their iPod POS and I walked out with a Verizon 128GB Matte Black 7 Plus, tax free, in literally 3 minutes. I'm stoked at how well Apple is handling these reservations.
