Got the other one in Chula Vista since it was the only one I saw that had the black. It was a bit of a drive but for sure worth it.
 
Hi everyone!

I was able to pick up my 7+ (matte black) yesterday from Apple. I didn't check back in here, but I just wanted to say thanks for everything over the past week. It was awesome to finally get the phone I waited for at 3am last Friday lol.

Bit of advice for anyone going to pick up a phone at Apple - definitely get there early. There's a wait of course, but they may be able to help you faster. I checked in about 25mins before my reservation time (class ended early) and was out about 20mins later. My reservation was at 11 and I was out by 11:10.

I'm loving the 7+ so far. The home button is a little weird, but overall, it's a great phone and was definitely worth the long wait.

Good luck to everyone waiting to reserve/pick up!

IUP comes with AppleCare. If you get it through that program you have to have it. If you reserve through IUP and they let you buy it outright, I don't believe you have to take AppleCare.

I reserved and paid full price. I had to ask him to add AppleCare. So no, you do not have to purchase it when you pay full price.

Looks like the Florida Mall location is STOCKED on Plus'es across the board.
 
Having finally found a 256G Black Plus (verizon) today, I can say that midnight isn't your only time to find what you're looking for on http://www.istocknow.com. I've stayed up the last 4 nights with no success and today I just decided to leave a window open on the site and I narrowed down the search options to exactly what I was looking for and checked the box to hide all the depressing red pin drops. Sure enough around noon today (in L.A.) I started noticing stock pop up from East to West across the US. Eventually a lone green pin showed up and I jumped on it. At 1PM I was able to secure a reservation for 2PM at the Beverly Center Apple store.
I was so close to giving up and settling on a 128 (if I could find it).

Keep at it guys.

You'll get yours.

Are you in atlanta by chance? (Falcons icon lol). If so that gives me hope because that's where I'd be looking to go for one.
 
I don't get why it is saying service unavailable? anyone getting through after selecting the phone?

this sucks, I am only reserving because my preorder is stuck in Korea, no way it arrives until monday then its too late.

Anyone else having any success? do we think it is just the website or is it something to do with our accounts?
 
Can I use AT&T SIM with Sprint model if I pay it in full? In another word, if I pay it in full there's no difference between Sprint model and Verizon model?

That's what I've been reading. I was wondering the same. I have bad luck with Sprint phones though.
