apple.com allowing me to add new iPhone to Verizon account with unlimited

What are the chances apple.com extra udp line will work with activation at home? Apple store is far for at store pick up
I will work. Make sure that if your shipment arrives early and your activation date is still some time off you may have to go into apple to have it changed
Ok, so my iPhone 6 is arriving today.. 10 days prior to the original delivery estimate. Do I attempt to activate it now or wait 10 days? Anyone know if any harm will be done trying to activate it early? Nearest Apple store is 2 1/2 hours away. Thanks.

I'm interested in knowing if anyone has had success activating the phone and line without going to the store when it has arrived before the original delivery date. I'd love to not have to go into the store and not have to wait 10 days to get the line activated. Would a SIM swap work with an existing phone and/or UDP line?
I don't think so as I think the issue is that Verizon's system is not set up to create the new line until the estimated shipping date. And I don't think Apple can correct it - I think Verizon needs to correct it in their system.
The only post I remember where it worked, the guy had Apple put in an engineering ticket and then when the time came for his estimated shipping date, it worked for him. But it didn't seem like the engineering ticket had anything to do with it.

Seems to change store to store. UPS guys tend to have a similar window daily, but it changes depending on the store/location.
thanks, so I just need to figure out when the UPS guy comes to my store. I asked the in-store reps and they said they get new phones in every day even Sunday, which I thought was odd. They said there is a special delivery service for these iPhones.
They didn't get any new iPhones in on Sunday or Monday so I think it is BS or my store just isn't a high priority for iPhone replenishment.
I thought the same however when looking on istocknow I noticed they do get other carriers/unlocked, just not Verizon every day. My local store seems to get Verizon reliably on Tuesday's. Other days it's hit or miss.
It's strange, just kind of testing things. If I try to add a new line on Verizon's website it says "unable to add because of a pending order". Unfortunately, that line isn't actually showing in my account yet. I'll probably try to activate (10 days early) once I get the phone today and see what happens.

Anyone notice certain colors/sizes sell better than others? My store only seems to get the 16GBs in, but who the heck can live with only 16GBs when the operating system takes up about 8GB and no external SD card?!?!?!!?

Please keep us posted! I think unfortunately that you have to wait until the estimated delivery date gets closer. You can try having apple submit an engineering ticket like one poster on SD thread but from everything else I have read, they many times try to get Verizon involved and once that happens - poof! bye-bye UDP hello 2GB plan!

What?!?!? The only glitch to add a new UDP line is at apple.com but it looks like the Best Buy Method works through Verizon.Here's to hoping that there's a glitch for the note 4 and the little nexus 6
Oh and here is the "little Nexus" - 5.9 inches of unlocked and rooted fun!!!!
