Is it possible to refresh the Apple Store-app? Does it do it automatically? Or do I have to force close it and re-launch it all the time?

I'm pretty sure you have to force close and open.

Why would you want to do this? Its about the same cost over 2 years and AppleCare+ is infinitely better than any other cell phone insurance.

Not when the cell phone insurance already includes Applecare+ in addition to theft protection, which T-Mobile's insurance does last I checked.
