For those of you that are not familiar with doing this here's how you can check your order.

Go to UPS's website. Go to tracking. Go to track by reference number. Put the cell phone number associated with your order in as the reference number. Put your ZIP Code. Put your country. Hit track package button. If your phone has shipped it'll come up on UPS's website.

I checked last night and my phone still wasn't showing up on UPS website. I just woke up at 4 AM Pacific time and decided to check again and it shows my phone has shipped and will be here by end of day on November 3. Oh and it's coming from China

Good luck I hope everybody can find their phones. This happens every year where Apple says it still preparing to ship yet you can track it through UPS

Is the charge still pending on your card (or other method of payment) or did it go through yet?
 
I was up all night on Friday morning, around 2:50am EST I pulled up the Apple website on my MacBook and had my iPhone ready to go with the app. I was expecting the app to be available first and had already favorited the iPhone X 256GB Space Gray. The website came up first and I clicked the bag and had to sign in and enter a bunch of information. I thought for sure I’d get a 2-3 weeks shipping but I got my email confirmation at 3:10am with a Nov. 3rd delivery date.

After clearing the cc fraud alert this morning it moved into "preparing to ship" for Nov 3 for my silver 256gb gsm but tried the order# minus the last 2 digits and also my telephone number on the UPS site but no luck yet. anxiously waiting haha

Mine always comes through FedEx when I order through the carrier as well. The unassigned phone goes from China to your carrier's distribution center and then is shipped to you from there after it's assigned to you. When I ordered from AT&T I wouldn't even get a shipping notification or tracking number until the day before it arrived. That's why I go through Apple now. It leaves Shenzhen with your name on it directly your door (typically).
 
I just checked the UPS website and I actually DO have a tracking number already lol. it's coming from Foxconn in china

Nope. Instead of them putting it on the truck at the center to take to your house, they will keep it there for you to pick up

As I recall, last year those with dates 2 to 3 weeks past launch day started seeing movement the day after launch with most arriving 8 days after launch. I’m thinking the same will happen this time although I’m wondering if it could be a bit sooner since I recall the equivalent of the 10 - 17 folks got theirs early or mid-week after launch and it seems those folks this year are all getting theirs on launch day. That would suggest that us 17-24 folks may get ours even earlier than 8 days after launch since there is not another batch of phones between us and launch day. Thoughts?
