To the people asking if they should be worried and their status is Preparing for shipment: If by Thursday evening your phone hasn’t shipped, you can worry then 
Last year UPS got my iPhone 7+ from China to Florida in less than 24 hours.
If your status is processing, you still shouldn’t be worried, but I’ll call my bank to see if they haven’t declined any charges form Apple just to be sure.
There’s still plenty of time for the orders to process and deliver on time.

Anyone know how to change the UPS order to be held at a CC? My shipment is showing up on UPS tracking but it won't let me change the delivery even after I log into myups. Should I just call them tomorrow instead? Figured doing it online was easier
I was in the T-Mobile 11/10-11/17 group at first , then I got bumped to 11/3 , now it’s showing up in my ups app.. needless to say , I’m very much relieved. Now I’m just waiting for my silicone case to ship on 11/1. Friday can’t come soon enough!!
Any Tmo orders that showed 17-24 delivery date been bumped up to an earlier delivery slot?
I think this happened last year as well. It departs one part of ZhengZhou, and arrives at another (airport?) before getting another departure scan.
Mine looks almost the exact same with the X. The top two lines are identical to mine.Can someone explain how the departure scan in ZhengZhou was at 12:30am and the arrival scan at 12:57am? I’m not concerned about my phone, I’m sure it will arrive on the 3rd, I’m just curious about the timing of the scans.
This happened with the 7 Plus launch last year where the locations and time frames didn't add up. Once it leaves China, everything will start making more sense.

Evening of Nov-02... even then, only maybe. This happens every year. If they say Nov-03, it'll be Nov-03. Easy for me to say, I know, but I've been in your shoes.

No, I asked that questions a bit earlier and no one indicated they have moved out of ZhenZhou.

Always do it ASAP whenever you get tracking, coming from past experiences.
You do it too late, it will end up delaying your order. They fill up trucks with orders in the late and early hours of the night and morning, respectively. If you request holding it early on, they know to separate your order from the others once it arrives at the destination facility.
Just to clarify, this is for UPS warehouses. If you’re picking up at a store, you’re better off just having it go to your home.
But technically Apple hasn’t given out the tracking info. I found it myself and it’s still in China. I should request the hold now?
