Odd. I was able to select it on mine last year without any issues. Though it’s not a huge benefit because you can only choose a 2 hour window that’s within the 4 hour estimate they give you to begin with. So if your estimate is 2pm-6pm, your 2 hour window options are: 2-4, 3-5, 4-6.
You're using your order number, less the last two digits, right? (so, in theory, there's about 99 other people with that same reference number - if Apple fills them sequentially). This is why you should also put in your zip code.

Do carriers aka fedex get priority getting out of China? Since it is inventory Apple can't control?
A friend of mine ordered from Verizon and his is sitting in Memphis at the FedEx hub. I think that Verizon has their initial stock staged there to fulfill their initial pre-orders.

It stands to reason that there could have been shipments to the US previously. (I mean, Foxconn's been making devices for several weeks, right?) It doesn't mean anyone's getting their devices any sooner (but the one screenshot showing 10/30 delivery target makes me think they're likely showing a case order, not a phone)

I'm sure yours will show up soon enough. As yours isn't until later, I wouldn't expect to see anything for a couple of weeks. Your status will change to PFS beforehand.

Yeah, it can't be entirely sequential or you would have seen a lot more than one other one.Yup, I put in the order no. excluding the last 2 digits. I can only see one shipment though (and apparently it's not mine xD) When I put in my zip code in as well, I got no results.
I feel like the order no. should be in chronological order. But if so the other 98 should ship very soon as well. But since my estimate is nov17-24 I guess the order no. is just random?

Should I be worried that on Apple.com, my status reads Preparing to Ship, but I can still track the phone on UPS.com and that it hasn't left CN yet + my cc account says that the amount is still "processing" ?
Originally ordered a Grey 256GB X through IUP. Loan processing failed due to volume. Quoted shipping was 2-3 weeks.
Reordered and used ATT Next, 4-5 weeks shipping. Date range of 12/5-12/11.
Received the Apple Loan email on Saturday morning, responded with order number and desire to have order through IUP over ATT Next.
Checked order status today. Still listed as ATT Next but shipping has been moved up to Nov 17-24th.
