Uh do you or your friend know of any other flights from CGO > Alaska > Louisville ?Flight is scheduled to depart in 58 minutes, so this should be a quick turnaround.

I think Anchorage is just a refueling stop, cargo is unloaded in Louisville. It was three hours late on arrival so it's probable it won't leave on time. But hey, I've never unloaded a cargo plane so maybe they are quick?
Me too!Waiting for Anchorage Arrival Scan on UPS website.
But much like passenger planes that make emergency landings and don’t allow people to get off, if the things are not unloaded, then they go through customs at the actual port of entry where things are unloaded - KY in this case.I believe they do it twice. I do know that anything coming into the US from abroad has to go through customs before in can enter. Anchorage is the first port of entry. People too. (Off topic) I had a heck of a time flying into DC from Europe last month going through customs and having every part of my body scanned cuz I had sports tape on my tendons and had to be checked over and over and over. Good that they do that but still. I almost missed my connecting flight!
Quick turnaround to where?Flight is scheduled to depart in 58 minutes, so this should be a quick turnaround.
Quick turnaround to where?
Last year my iPhone was stuck in Anchorage for a whole day waiting to clear customs.

Is there any chance that the phones that landed just landed will show up at our houses before Friday?

It won’t be unloaded. Pallets aren’t broken up until Kentucky.
True. Just depends if our little phones are getting off the plane or staying comfy in their little seats! But much like passenger planes that make emergency landings and don’t allow people to get off, if the things are not unloaded, then they go through customs at the actual port of entry where things are unloaded - KY in this case.
I wonder if the pilots know there are like a hundred people tracking themI wonder how much these pilots get paid...![]()
OIC. Hope she is right then. THAT WOULD BE KEWL!Not sure about last year, but this is a special flight according to my friend at UPS. It sounds like they are handling it differently this time.
She said it was initially setup to go through Hong Kong, but was changed to go straight from CGO to SDF. (stopping to refuel in ANC)
