Doubt it, I think the next scan will be in SDF/Louisville. If what was said earlier is true and this is just a pit stop for refueling, there isn't time to clear customs and scan the packages. All scanning will be done in SDF and customs clearance as well there...

Sorry about this guys but I'm from the UK. I'm intrigued to see where the X will be shipping from as last year my 7+ came from Zhengzhou. However, I know a few people have said in this that they come from a closer shipping area in Europe? Unfortunately, I don't have access to things such as UPS my choice and the Apple order's site says 'Preparing for Dispatch' even though my estimated delivery date is the 3rd.
Yeah I also have the 7:50PM in ZhengZhou arrival and nothing else yet. I'm sure we'll see movement by tomorrow.
I've gotten Anchorage scans before, so I think we'll get those in this case.

I’ve been catching up here since I got home and I keep reading the “late to the plane” folks’ posts and wanting to scream CHECK UPTHREAD! Since a bunch of us have done a bit of sleuth work to get things figured lol. Just waiting for the next batch.
Kind of annoying when you’ve gone over things a million times but I get it. Some are late to the thread and don’t want to go read to play catch up.
No that was a loss of tracking from FlightAware and a reacquisition near Wales. The Runway there definitely cannot handle a 747. It’s gravel.
That's not unusual, but it does make you sweat a bit. I had an iPhone switch to Shipped the day before it was scheduled to arrive (launch day). The device was in Louisville when I got Shipped status.
I’m not sure, but if they had the ability to get iOS 11.1 on the phones before they shipped they would. I guarantee that iOS 11.1 squashes a lot of bugs specifically for iPhone X. I hope it’s at 11.1, but not a big deal either way.
Well. Ya'll broke me and I held for p/u at CC. Which I've never done before but I don't want to be waiting till 8PM. So I guess I will be driving an hour and a half to be there at open at 10:00 AM.

I’ve gotten scans in AK before on past phones. And just because we are not clearing through Customs the package still has to be accounted for entering into the USA even if it’s only for a refuel and pilot swap.
Search, on UPS’ website, under Tracking, using either your phone number, or your Apple “W” order Number without the last two digits. Yours is probably in the same situation.
As stated before there was a loss of ADS-B coverage that was re-acquired near Wales AK prior to landing in ANC

We were on the Verizon network, but I let our contract run out to a month-to-month situation because I wanted the new iPhone and it was on the AT&T network. We're talking the original iPhone. So launch days comes and it's a Friday and I don't do anything to try to get the iPhone. Then, the next day, I call the Columbia, MD Apple Store out of curiosity. I get an employee and say, "I'm really sorry to bother you, but I am curious. How many people are in line for the iPhone?" The Apple store employee replied, "Oh, there are no lines." I said, "No lines? Well, do you have any iPhones?" He replied, "Oh yes, we have iPhones." I said, "Thank you very much." Then I got into my car and made beeline to the Apple Store to buy the first iPhone."

They definitely go through customs in Ankorage. It’s the so-called Point Of Entry into the States.
Why would you change it to P/U at CC if you live so far away from UPS? Do they deliver at 8pm everyday? My UPS usually comes between 1 and 2, so I’m working from home and waiting, and my UPS CC is only 20 minutes away.
Thank you. Mine is still under "Preparing for Shipment" but i used this method to get my tracking number.
Everyone with a 11/3 date is still in "preparing for shipment". Either search for you phone number on ups' website or create a myUPS account if you want to track it.
