The truck tracking only works for UPS Air and UPS Worldwide Express packages. These are World Ease.

Anyone freaking out about their in-store pickup on Nov. 3 still saying "Order in Progress?" Has anyone gone through this before in the past what's the process when going to the store to pick up???
 
I'd appreciate some help on this, as UPS is frustrating- I called UPS to request a CC pickup but they told me that due to something technical with my account, I can't do that until the package has been scanned in America. Once that happens in a couple hours, where should I go for this? The online option isn't working, so should I call and ask? If so, do I call the international packages number? Thanks.

Dug a little more. WorldEase is something about grouping packages to get through customs. Were world wide express saver. I dont want to wait around all day if I see him on the other side of the city

The stores are crazy on launch day and my anxiety will not allow me to be in that situation without flipping out,so safer for everyone and myself to be home and wait for ups,It’ll be all good apples got this down ,you’ll get notification prolly Thursday to pick up Friday morning,all launch day phones will be where they need to go,have faith

The Hong Kong flight to Anchorage somehow just added an additional 30 minutes to its total delay. Was going really fast for most of the trip so far so I guess it hit some crazy head winds. Either that or the system is wonky.
 
Anyone with a Hong Kong 11/01/2017 10:51 P.M. Time know what plane we will be on? I can never figure out Flightaware.
 
Just picked up this case. The size feels really nice, very excited for Friday.

1. If you have a Nov 3rd delivery date you are 99% guaranteed to receive your phone on Nov 3rd.
2. All Apple orders still say "Preparing to Ship" but phones have been moving through the UPS system.
3. If you ordered directly from Apple you can track your phone on UPS.com by using your ten digit phone number as a reference number.
4. The first huge shipment of phones landed in Louisville last night but haven't been scanned since leaving Anchorage yesterday at 4:30.
5. If you have any concerns about delivery (not being home, it arriving too late in the day, etc.) Sign up for UPS MyChoice and change the delivery to be held at a UPS CC (that's customer center or hub). That way it will be ready for pickup when the CC opens. If you choose a UPS store or UPS authorized pick up point you will in all likeliness have to wait an extra day to pick up your phone because the driver will have to deliver it to that location and it will be checked in.

Personally I just enjoy watching a package go through the system and make it's way closer and closer. I love that some of the brilliant members here, shout out to DJ_Rosko and kjgnola with the inside info, were able to deduce which flight our phones were on and we could watch it cross the ocean. Really neat stuff. Even though my phone shows as "Preparing for Shipping" on Apple's site I have no fears that I won't be able to pick it up at 8:00am at my local hub on Friday.

This is a great list and very helpful.

I do have one comment based on personal experience though.

I have had many packages held at my local UPS store and never had to wait until the next day to pick them up. Most often it is available earlier than my driver usually comes to my home.

I’m sure that might not always be the case but has been my experience.

What is the flight number?
 
Anyone still show their iPhone order in the Apple store app when your in the discover tab. I still show it in the account tab but seems to be not showing up in dicover tab for me now.

Idk, I've never done it and it doesn't say "saver" on the UPS website listing what shipping services it works with.

I did read that an email is sent out when the driver scans it onto the truck with a link to the tracker, so wait and see i guess.

The only thing I'm not buying is that somebody stole a whole pallet of iPhones. If that happened, I think we'd see more posts than one or two.

I did this a week ago. Then couldn’t cope so I went and bought an iPhone 8 Plus on my credit card which I’m taking back on Saturday morning once I have my X. Thank God for Apple’s no-quibble return policy. They basically just loaned me a phone
