Mine is still preparing for dispatch with a Friday delivery date... I’m starting to get worried!

I know that still doesn't explain why they are waiting 24h to get the first plane sorted

For all you know, the
Well things change lol, scroll back a few pages the guy that used worked UPS (the guy who has a friend that works at the hub in Lousiville) confirmed what I'm saying now, they're sitting on them until ours catches up which should be 3-4 hours. Anyways like I said again UPS can get your package to your house even if you're across the country in like 14 hours tops.. What's the point of moving them? If they're just gonna sit w/e they're moved to anyways. Like I'll say again you should see your iPhone on a flight for tomorrow sometimes. UPS already knows what planes the iPhones will go on same as trucks etc. Like I told another guy earlier mark my word once our plane touches down within a the first few hours should see movement :D

AND AGAIN: Even if it was in your state it would still be sitting until Friday lol

Seriously. And I'd rather have my phone sitting around at a secured hub than at my local CC center which has been known to lose and or not deliver packages. I once got a notice that something had been delivered, and it wasn't at my house when I got home, so I thought it was stolen. A week later, I had to pick up another package that I'd missed, and lo and behold, they brought me out two packages. The one that had been "delivered" a week prior was sitting in their back room the whole time. I'd already contacted the vendor and asked them to re-send it.

tl;dr - it's safer to have them all sitting in a central facility that works on massive-volume logistics than my local CC where stuff routinely goes sideways.

I have to say, I have followed these forums in the past for prior launches — I enjoy the watching the process. Some of you have really gave me some solid laughs. The people who are having boarder line panic attacks and calling the airports about delays have been especially choice this go-round.
It’s just really refreshing to know I’m not the only extreme neurotic person out there and there are other people just as crazy as I am ,they should just enable are cameras after purchase so we could watch the live feed from each of our individual phones the whole way thru the process to alleviate some of are panic and anxiety until it’s walked up to our front doors.just a thought for the future releases

Anyone else's package still stuck on 4:13 in Alaska? I noticed some people have already gotten departure scans

UPS is amazing.

Had a package delivered recently that was shipped next day air.

It didn’t leave KY until 4:43am and it was delivered to my house in the north east at 12:51.

And it made a pit stop at another airport before it got to the one in my city.

Tottaly agree with that! I'm picking mines up from my local UPS hub at 9 Am (when they open) and as long as is their come 9 AM Friday. I'm good. I'm from Indiana so I shouldn't see movement from mines until Late Thursday early Friday

Looking back at last year, got a shipping email from Apple around 1 AM on Thursday with an early evening flight from Louisville to Ontario (I’m in Los Angeles), then a 2-3 hour truck ride from Ontario in the middle of the night to my UPS hub in the valley. Was out for delivery on Friday by 8 AM!

A lot of them have the flight numbers, amazing. Wonder if they know who the pilots are?

I am pretty sure Gmail converts the incoming message time to your local time zone...
Yeah - so the original screenshot is showing 6 PM EST, the screenshot posted on 8PM EST. That reply arguing the screenshot posted on 5PM, but the replier is on PST: i.e. 8PM EST == 5PM PST.

I don't think this has anything to do with gmail

We found the tracking numbers and details by searching in UPS not from Apple by using UPS Reference data: Phone number and or Apple Order Number dropping the last 2 digits. The Apple status has not changed as of yet to provide any shipping information.
