I’m picking my iPhone up at a UPS CC on Friday. My name is on the package but the address on the package is a different address than what’s on my license (it’s still a residential address). I checked the UPS website and it says the last name and address on the license have to match the one on the package, but if you bring proof of residency, they’ll accept it. Does anyone know what kinds of proof UPS would accept? I have a bunch of mail with my name and the address from the package. Would they accept those as proof of residency?

Also, I’m about ready for those import scans!!
 
My delivery date is 11/16 to 11/24 but I noticed my stats recently changed to “preparing to shipment”. Is that normal? It’s still an minimum of 15 days.

If you're the recipient and are picking up the package, you do not need proof of address

I was just about to ask, but I'm sure after seeing your name match up with your ID then you'll be fine. They probably don't mind if the address is any different. Especially if you've got the tracking code handy

My phone which is in the 10/31 at 430pm departed AK group, just changed from “end of day” delivery to “date tentative”. Odd

A utility bill with your name and address usually works.

Seriously stop calling. It’s shipped. Actually scroll back a few pages and find your tracking number.

How exactly?

I’ve tried putting the order number minus the last two digits into the ups website, but to no result. I also checked the my choice calendar, but nothing seems to be scheduled... I’m from Germany though, so maybe it comes with DHL express.

Right?!? How many different times/ways can it be said that NONE our orders for Nov 3rd delivery say shipped in the Apple system? EVERYONE is still in prepared for shipment. It won’t update until sometime tomorrow, most likely. Pay attention, read the thread, and figure out how to navigate the UPS system to get your tracking number!

Correct my comments only apply to USA based customers. I have no clue as to how your shipping would work in Germany. There must be and EU version of UPS and I would expect a couple of key Airports that act as hubs for your shipping. Do you have an old Apple order that you could check the tracking for?

If your worried because Apple still shows your phone as preparing to ship you can retrieve your tracking number by searching by reference number in ups. Make sure you fill out the zip code and put your ship date at 10/1 to 11/4 in the reference field input your whole social security number. Don’t forget the dashes (###-##-###). Then take a screenshot and post it here so we can make sure you did it right.
