I've been pretty chill through the track by reference, flight tracking and the way too often refresh for updates. But now that it has hit the states and Apple and UPS have been sending me notifications, I'm getting really excited.

Of course, I still have to hope that UPS delivers to the office before we close tomorrow...

Where did you see that it is delayed? I’m also in the AK 4:30 group and don’t see any mention of it.

Got the shipment notification from Apple this morning with my delivery date being tomorrow. But UPS tracking hasnt been updated in 2 days, last movement was Departure from Alaska on 10/31.

Mine is the same.

Why is that option not available to you? Your profile says Boston-there’s tons of hubs there.

If you’re in Boston proper, the line between the Southie hub, Somerville or Watertown Hub kind of crosses like behind the TD Garden going towards the west end and around Back Bay back to Beacon Hill for Watertown Hub then from Beacon Hill to Southie/Dot/Eastie is South Boston Hub and the rest is Somerville. I'd have to double check but if you hold it I can find out what your Hub/CC is.

Because it hasn't been updated or left China yet... Because it says it has been delayed... I seriously doubt it could make it here in the next 24-30 hours.

UPS can bring a package from China to the US in less than 24hours

Probably not. (Saturday deliveries). You're better off to call and get them to hold it at the CC closest to you. (check their hours though).
Saturday deliveries aren't available everywhere and I'm not sure that Apple's paying for Saturday deliveries.
(only certain UPS services are eligible for Saturday delivery).

My buddy who had a launch day scheduled delivery from Apple text me at midnight last night saying his phone was now delayed 11/15-17.

Anyone else slip? I have my tracking from Apple as of 30 mins ago or so.

Doubt it buddy. FedEx has some bottom of the barrel people working for them making s*** money while full time UPS people are union and after 4 years can make over 36 bucks an hour. Now, UPS management on the other hand... Well they blow.

Exactly, pretty sure they will allow Saturday pickups at the hub.

This is the times when I wish UPS was like fedex. I have like 15 locations within 10 mins from me that I can route packages to.

I’m also in the 4:30 Anchorage group and just called the UPS International Dept and the woman confirmed it’s in Kentucky but just not scanned in yet. She also said it wasn’t released from customs until yesterday but that all is on track for an on time delivery tomorrow.

Well, they do have the UPS stores - but most stores don't get their deliveries until just before closing, so that can often add a day.

I contacted UPS about the missing scans. I was told that my package was in Louisville even though I didn’t get an arrival scan. All is well.

Apple & Nike are two of UPS’ biggest clients. I’ve had a pair of limited championship kicks that were slated for a Friday delivery but were delivered Saturday. Granted this was probably because they were slammed delivering said product, and it wasn’t a customer request. You can try to request it but since they are already going to be slammed tomorrow, it might not work in your favor. Who knows. Wouldn’t hurt to call them up and inquire.
