So Apple site now says item has shipped but UPS still only shows departure from Anchorage. Still no arrival into Louisville or import scan as of yet... Not worried I know I will get it on Friday, just wondering if others have the same

Another charcoal 256 ordered with 17-24 delivery. Got charged tax last night and got an email with shipping notification overnight for Nov 8.

ATT? Seems like ATT is being shipped first. I'm on T-Mobile in that crowd. I think I'll be later because lots of people ordered the T-Mobile one.

I too got the shipped email from Apple. I don't have an import scan from Kentucky yet. My phone was part of the 4:30 PM first arrival in Alaska group. I expect I'll get up Kentucky Scan fairly soon

My credit card was actually charged on Sunday and apples email says it was shipped on 10/ 28

Since you seem well versed in all this figured I’d ask. Since hitting KY it still says 11/3, but one page shows the date as tentative. Is that normal? Curious because if it changes before tomorrow at this point that doesn’t leave me a lot of time to get a hold of someone on the phone and beg for a hold in Maspeth.

It is normal. My UPS shows the same thing.

I know in the past, people have had scans skipped and the next update from UPS put it at their door step. With this much volume anything is possible.

Mine was originally quoted for Nov 17-24th shipping but last night they changed the Tax and got the shipment notification this morning and it should arrive by the 8th. Too bad they couldn't do second day shipping like they use to or I would have it tomorrow (on release day).

My order confirmation came thru 22 mins after pre order began. 256GB x in silver for att, thru the Apple store. Still no bump at all in shipment/delivery. Hoping no issue and it’ll happen like most on here. I’m seeing a lot move to 11/6 or 11/8. No one sees any issues here with my pic right? Just luck of the draw? Keeping my hopes up for the time being, that I too, can get my phone early next week at least.

Surprising to see the 10/31 ANC arrival peeps havent gotten an arrival into SDF.

Mine got into ANC on 11/01 and is already in SDF as of 11/02.

If I’m this crazy sitting by myself in my living room tracking my iPhone x remotely can you imagine how well I’d do here? I did it for my first iPhone, never again. Lined up in the wee hours at my local Apple store, was maybe 20th in line, when they said the line had to move. Everyone behind me sprinted to the new location knocking others out of their way so by the time I got there I was maybe 200th in line. Miracle I wasn’t arrested.

I lined up for the iPhone 4s and was probably 20-30 back from the door. Being in a city, close to a street intersection, they ended that line with me, and made people form a continuation of the line around the corner going down a side street (so as not to block other store fronts) that wasn't visible from where I was standing. Needless to say I got very tired of telling people trying to get in line behind me that they couldn't actually get in line behind me and needed to go to the end of the line that continued around the corner that stretched for several blocks. Being the bearer of bad news that brought the look of disappointment to their faces was soul-crushing after a while.

Also everyone around me was simply there to get a phone to resell, etc. which ruined my excitement a bit. The guy directly in front of me was an unpaid intern at a law firm and his boss was personally paying him $100 to stand in line. I told him he could get way more than that simply buying it and selling it himself, and to tell his boss to pay him more or he would just keep it, and he said that risk wasn't worth the reward (lol). The elderly couple in front of him said they heard you could sell them for quite a bit on eBay so took money out of their savings to buy one to make some money. They weren't even buying one each— just one phone between the two of them, but they were in line together to keep each other company. They were a pretty cute couple that had been together for like 60 years, and still seemed very much in love... That as probably the only time I've ever hoped for a scalper to turn a decent profit. In front of them were a large group of Asian guys who I didn't even realise were together until about 30 minutes before opening a guy walked up with a rucksack and started handing them cash to pay for the phones. Then I watched him stand by the door to collect the phones and pay them for standing in line on their way out.

You'd think 10/31 flight would get into SDF first and get scanned first. But apparently there arent even departure scans for those 10/31 ANC flights.
