Last year I missed the driver to sign and called UPS. They said they were doing Saturday deliveries for the iPhones that were missed on Friday. Sure enough he showed up Saturday.

Only time I've ever seen UPS do a Saturday delivery for an Apple launch was when they messed up and missed their Friday delivery commitment.
Whatever time UPS loads my phone onto a truck, I’m glad I preordered. If I’m this crazy sitting by myself in my living room tracking my iPhone x remotely can you imagine how well I’d do here? I did it for my first iPhone, never again. Lined up in the wee hours at my local Apple store, was maybe 20th in line, when they said the line had to move. Everyone behind me sprinted to the new location knocking others out of their way so by the time I got there I was maybe 200th in line. Miracle I wasn’t arrested.
Hoping for similar news today or tomorrow. Nov 17-24th here as well. First pre order I’ve done in all these years. Kinda anxious kinda fun lol My order went thru at 22mins past the start of pre order. Hoping for good news. Plus side my dark olive silicone came already lol
I requested to pick my phone up at a UPS CC (I made the request on Sunday). Today I received an email from UPS My Choice saying that I have a package being delivered tomorrow with the delivery location being my apartment. Does anyone else have this, or does anyone know if this means my request didn't go through? Thanks!
Does anyone know if ups will allow ups my choice customers to choose a more specific delivery window? From 4 hours to a 2 hour window? It usually shows on the tracking page 48 hours before delivery, but they’ve not updated the page yet.
Yep....the pick-up orders won't have a status change until the iPhones are scanned into the store's inventory - could be tonight or even tomorrow morning.

I just did and got a production week of 43 2017 (October). Crazy! Week 43 corresponds to October 23 – October 29. Right off the assembly line!

Yea. But I have never been successful at getting a package routed to a UPS store without adding a day or so to the shipping.Well, they do have the UPS stores - but most stores don't get their deliveries until just before closing, so that can often add a day.
FedEx, night before. Route to one of the 4 stores around or one of their third party partners, no problem.
My fave fedex store is the first stop in from the Addison hub. HFPU are usually there by/before 8a.
Yeah, our UPS CC opens at 7:30am....so, if I still wait (11/20-27 crowd) to get my X delivered, I'll have it held at the CC so I get it first thing in the AM. Likely going to try doing a walk-in tomorrow though.
Since you seem well versed in all this figured I’d ask. Since hitting KY it still says 11/3, but one page shows the date as tentative. Is that normal? Curious because if it changes before tomorrow at this point that doesn’t leave me a lot of time to get a hold of someone on the phone and beg for a hold in Maspeth.
So Apple site now says item has shipped but UPS still only shows departure from Anchorage. Still no arrival into Louisville or import scan as of yet... Not worried I know I will get it on Friday, just wondering if others have the same

Another charcoal 256 ordered with 17-24 delivery. Got charged tax last night and got an email with shipping notification overnight for Nov 8.
I'm in the literal same exact case as you LOL. Gonna keep the att phone and either sell it or play with it until i get my apple order then sell or return LOL!
