Patiently waiting for delivery on the West Coast :(. My 6 + decided to reject iOS 11 and it's running at turtles pace. Cant wait for the 8!

Your experience may vary. My "customer center" is only "open" for pickups from 9:30am-10:30am and then from 3pm-6pm Monday through Friday. I would make sure you check out their hours. Also, I selected hold for pickup yesterday. My package has now stopped moving. Last scan was around 11:30pm last night (arrival). It hasn't moved since. Despite UPS website saying it would still be ready for pickup today, by the end of the day. By next day air no less. Just be cautious.

Just checked my iPhone 8 shipping status and it says it’s estimated to be delivered September 24 this Sunday. Does UPS deliver on Sundays?

Got my slate grey 8 all set up. Upgraded from a 6 and feel like an old man (at 31) because I have zero experience with 3D Touch. Love the look of the phone though. Ios11 runs incredibly well on the 8.

I immediately put the phone in an OtterBox, and during activation and setup it got hotter than I’d like. Seems to be doing fine now that it’s not over processing.
 
Discovered there was a Customer Center 10 minutes from my house, and logged onto the UPS app last around midnight pacific time and requested it be routed to the Customer Center. Arrived there just a bit before noon today after some work meetings and the process was EZPZ. Was in and out in under 5 minutes. Very impressed with this. There was no line either (though I did ask the customer service rep if he had a lot of people in earlier today and he said no not anymore than usual). Happy with the ordering process and am just waiting for the phone to finish restoring from backup. Thanks for all the help!

As I mentioned in the Apple Watch thread, in Pasadena Apple Store, as of 3PM today when I went to pickup my LTE Watch, they had high inventory of all models and colors of the iPhone 8/Plus in stock. No real lines at all.
 
Anyone pre-order here or order today? And is it possible it will deliver quicker than the 26th if I order tonight?
 
So after a lot of foolishness with Verizon I finally got it set up. They said I owed some bill from 8 years ago (news to me) for another phone (which is weird seeing as I was able to activate my 6+ two years ago at the same Apple store). I spent nearly two hours in the Apple store trying to get it sorted out and ended up with an unlocked gold +. This is fine with me as they told me I can trashcan Verizon and go to another carrier.

So now I am just pairing the shiny new thing to my watch and installing the apps.
 
No movement on my 9/26 order yet. :( Was hoping for a "Shipping Now!" But at least with overnight, it should get here Monday if it ships Saturday. Looking forward to my Space Grey 256GB 8+. Tomorrow the wife and I will be going near an Apple Store.... will be very tempting to look inside, but I will keep myself from doing so. lol
