After this experience? Most definitely. If you're willing to drive to your local UPS CC then I would definitely do it. Be sure to check the UPS CC hours of operation as they are different at each place from what I understand... See if your job / daily lifestyle fits those hours of operation... For example I should have just had it held at UPS CC. I asked the UPS driver today - why can't they deliver these phones in our concierge LOCKERS? He's like there has to be a physical person there. Doesn't need a signature, but someone at the door... Well I work 8 AM - 5 PM at the hospital so I don't have the liberty of being at home all the time...

The most interesting thing? My brother had a launch day iPhone delivered at his house and left next to the door WITHOUT anyone present to receive the phone. Go figure... Who knows with UPS. He was at the mall and then was like wow my iPhone is at home...

**On a side rant... I just set up my iPhone 12 Pro and the screen is yellow compared to my iPhone X and less brighter compared to the iPhone X. Ugh... Hate waiting this long to get it only to be disappointed. I have thus posted in the yellow thread... Lol. Like legit everyone... Screen is less brighter. I have sensitive eyes and I am amazed at my iPhone X screen brightness and whiteness...

The time delay is screwing with me, but unless that plane has a a flux capacitor riding along I don't see enough hours between now and tomorrow at 9:00pm for UPS to make a tomorrow delivery. ZZ to anchorage is a solid 10-11 hrs, Anchorage to Louisville about the same. That leaves no time to actually get to the destination city and get on a truck. Wednesday is realistic, but I do not understand how UPS is showing delivery for tomorrow for many of us.

That is unless a poster earlier was correct in saying much of this happened a long time ago and UPS is slow to update their tracking.

Unless the scans are behind but yea I don’t see it either. If I remember correctly most phones were stuck at Louisville for a day waiting for an import scan and customs clearance

Well I went ahead and got a screen protector for my 12 Pro. Got the invisible shield visionguard+. I like it doesn’t distort the screen that I can tell.

I went with the Zagg Glass Elite+. Was worried because the Ceramic Shield glass is smooth as buttah but the Zagg is just as smooth so it worked out in the end. Just need a case now.

I have UPS my choice. I don't have an option to track though. It shows me the delivery date and other date/location options, but nothing else

I am going to be moving over to a 5G sim once I receive my Pro Max because I heard that it will be the most up to date technology. I already received it from AT&T. I won't activate yet because it's useless in my XS Max now.

These look like units that have been handled a lot in-store and I've seen people be rough on display units in previous years just to test durability. I've also noticed that a number of display units I held this year were not even pristine models. A Blue 12 I looked at in Best Buy had a slightly off-center camera block as one example.

I've also noticed that a number of display units I held this year were not even pristine models. A Blue 12 I looked at in Best Buy had a slightly off-center camera block as one example.

I don't know if you can go off of display models as an accurate assessment of what this twitter account is reporting; I haven't seen any other outlets reporting on this. Makes me wonder if someone's been messing with the displays to create an issue, or something... This happens every. single. time. there's. a. new. iPhone.

Yeah. I’m on that same flight, and am still showing a delivery of tomorrow to central Texas.

I’m pretty sure I’ll see an exception/delivery reschedule in the morning for a Wednesday 28th delivery.

It's funny because when I went to the Verizon stores, they had a bunch of the Case Mate cases on the wall, so I was able to see many of them up close. I think I'm going to order the Ombre Twinkle Stardust as well. The case I showed you is called Karat - I ordered from Amazon.

To clarify, the case with the bee on it is my current 11 PM case - I took the picture to get an idea of the new PM size. The middle case is for the 12 PM, but by a different company.

I have 3 other cases all waiting for the PM to arrive - not sure if I'm keeping any of those since the sizing seems off.

I have the Gold Ombré Twinkle AND I ordered the Karat Crystal gems cases. Case-Mate has a picture of every color of iPhone in the Karat Crystal case. Every color looks great with it. I also have the Case-Mate Twinkle Confetti Case arriving on Wednesday. Not sure if I’ll keep all three.

I have the Twinkle Stardust on my Gold XS Max now and it looks gold since the case is clear. Love the bling!

Just curious, did your Zagg case come with the correct tool to align the screen protector? I got mine in the mail but haven’t yet received my phone. The packaging for the Zagg just says “new iPhone 6.1 2020” and has an image of the 11 series body. Been afraid to open it in case I need to return it.

I agree with you. That’s why I pointed out that the pictures look like display units. People mess with those all the time in search of some flaw. If actual owners start having issues, then we can be concerned. For now, I’m taking this is the annual mission for “what kind of gate can we stir up?”

I have the tracking number, but it just takes me to a screen that shows expected delivery and not much else. I have tracked other phones in the past.

Ups just emailed me telling me they have changed their site and made it simpler. They have made “this helpful service better for you”. UPS My Choice

If you are a case user, I wouldn't worry about this too much. This has been a concern for years, ever since the iPhone 5. I recall, just the plain steal band became pitted inside the case over time, on the iPhone 4/4S and I haven't seen that yet, on any phone since.

The phones on display are handled by a lot of people, with rings and other jewelry. Also, likely the phones are getting cleaned quite often which might harm the coating, or making it softer and more likely to chip or scratch. Let's wait for more single user reports before becoming alarmed.

I am also curious of this too. As the previous guess CAO1007 landed on 10PM while she got a scan at 8PM. An hour ago, the next plane for next ship, clx 9781 arrives, but still there is no scan.

Same here. I have a 5:46 am local time departure from ZZ, no further scans, delivery by EOD on 10/28 (Wed). Oh, and even with UPS MyChoice, no option (yet) to have it held at the UPS CC.
