Hoping that the phone comes with the 5G Sim, and it activates properly. I’ve ordered an AT&T phone, paid in full. Seems that some problems arise from trying to use the eSim instead of the physical Sim. I’m going the old fashioned way, with what I hope will be a functional 5G Sim. We’ll see! I have been worrying about this some already, so understand your concern!
Can someone tell me how to trace your phone again? I can't remember and UPS has changed their site. Hubby's phone is now supposed to be delivered on Thursday, but I would like to track it.
It's funny because when I went to the Verizon stores, they had a bunch of the Case Mate cases on the wall, so I was able to see many of them up close. I think I'm going to order the Ombre Twinkle Stardust as well. The case I showed you is called Karat - I ordered from Amazon.
To clarify, the case with the bee on it is my current 11 PM case - I took the picture to get an idea of the new PM size. The middle case is for the 12 PM, but by a different company.
I have 3 other cases all waiting for the PM to arrive - not sure if I'm keeping any of those since the sizing seems off.
Update to my rant about UPS....
It's 5 PM and my delivery is set to come today by 9 PM. I was at work from 8 - 5 PM and no delivery came which was a relief! I go home quickly. I find the UPS truck at the mailboxes! I go immediately there and say excuse me sir I hate to bother you, but I'm waiting for a package and have missed the last two shipments. I tell him my name. He quickly gives me my package!!!! I got my iPhone.
I tell him - hey man look Saturday UPS said they attempted delivery at 3:15 PM EST (which in my rant you can read the details). They did not. Immediately he says "this is my first time delivering to this apartment complex, but judging by what was left in this truck for deliveries that should have happened on Saturday it seems the driver didn't even bother". WOW.
GO UPS.... I appreciate that driver being honest... Telling me to keep waiting when there was NO KNOCK on my door at 3:15 and saying attempted delivery... Get out of here. I cannot respect that.

The biggest advantage that I've gathered is that you don't have to stalk and hope your driver doesn't abandon you and your delivery. From what I understand it's just less stressful. I'm inclined but terrified to change it but we have dinner plans with a friend on the 28th and if my phone doesn't make it between the 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. timeframe I will be incredibly anxious at dinner.

I have UPS my choice. I don't have an option to track though. It shows me the delivery date and other date/location options, but nothing else
Didn't they email you the tracking # yet? You should be able to login to UPS my choice and enter the tracking info. If it hasn't showed up in UPS my choice maybe it's not shipped yet?
I have the tracking number, but it just takes me to a screen that shows expected delivery and not much else. I have tracked other phones in the past.
What is your estimated delivery window provided by Apple? Maybe it's too soon for details?
My daughter have the 11 and every time I hold her phone even for 5 minutes, it make me appreciate the size of XS Max. Just 10 more days for Pro Max/Mini Preorder day!!!!!
The time delay is screwing with me, but unless that plane has a a flux capacitor riding along I don't see enough hours between now and tomorrow at 9:00pm for UPS to make a tomorrow delivery. ZZ to anchorage is a solid 10-11 hrs, Anchorage to Louisville about the same. That leaves no time to actually get to the destination city and get on a truck. Wednesday is realistic, but I do not understand how UPS is showing delivery for tomorrow for many of us.

I have that case on my wishlist. I’m going to buy 2 cases and a screen protector on Friday. At least Amazon has extended return dates to January 31, 2021.

Same thing happened to me. I have UPS my choice but the shipment never showed up under it...
That’s one thing I’m afraid will happen to me. In the past, I have had good luck with receiving my devices on launch day except for the 7+. That device took 2 weeks after launch day due to T-Mobile’s fault. Apple is my only option since I have to pay my SE 2020 off 50% before I can upgrade through Verizon. Hopefully your new phone will come this week.
So would you suggest picking up at the UPS CC instead of waiting for that brown truck?
Same here. When I pre-ordered, Apple said Nov 3 -6. Then when UPS got the shipment initiated, it went from Oct 30->Oct 27->Oct 28.
