Other Apple.com iPhone 12/Pro/Max/Mini Pre-Order/Order Status/Delivery Thread (2020) [Merged]

Don’t understand why mine didn’t get scanned in ANC when so many others did. Still showing delivery today but I suppose not if it didn’t even technically arrive in ANC yet.
 
So..I ordered two iphone12Pros...one paying the extra $8 for express, one without. Apple now says BOTH will be delivered on 10/30. This shows express is useless, although UPS says that one will be delivered today, although scans still say just "Departed from ZengZhou". Sigh.

Yep except my delivery is scheduled for tomorrow but I don’t have Anchorage scans yet. @4sallypat has a 10/28 delivery and she’s in CA (same as me) she already has Anchorage scans so hers seems Realistic... I think her package was ahead by 1 or 2 days.

I almost changed my pickup to be held last night but for some reason it said that if my package doesn’t get picked up by Friday 10/30 it would be returned to sender.... if the package doesn’t show up until then there’d be No way I could get it by then (we leave on our trip before 10 a.m. that day). If I make the change now deadline is now 11/2 to be picked up and even then I wouldn’t be able to get it by then because we won’t be back by 2 p.m. that day.

I think I should just leave it alone and chance my luck with a delivery and only change it off the package isn’t here by the 29th.

I may call ups in a little while - the deadline dates don’t make sense for a package not due to be in until “tomorrow”.

My gut says it won’t be here tomorrow... when my case was scheduled to arrive on 10/21 it was out for delivery early on 10/19 but it never made it nor was the site updated until the next day. I actually got the package around 6:15 p.m. on the 20th.

UPS will update delivery once there is an Anchorage scan, I suppose. They will all get where they need to be no later than Oct 30th. Anything before is anybody's guess...

While that says that but they usually update it once it gets to destination. You have 5 business days From the day it's ready for pick up. So if you did the request hold for pick up, and it's ready for pick up on 10/30/2020, you have 5 business days from that date. When you request it early, it won't know the exact date so it will assume the current date but that gets updated.

That’s odd... I can hold mine but I’m nervous to do it. I dunno which way my chances will be better and now I feel like I’ve waited too long.

Same for UPS, even the Central Florida part (well East Central Florida). Apple is still saying October 28-30. I also paid the $8.

How long do you all see the shipping notification before the actual delivery date? I’m in the November 3 through November 5 bucket and I’m wondering if I should be seeing something soon since it obviously ships from China
 
Has anyone had any luck finding inventory at their local Apple store?

It seems that my local store says my particular model and color are out daily.

I don’t have any new scans either. Mine still says delivery tomorrow by 9:00 pm. Apple site still says Nov. 3 to Nov. 6 so I’m hoping UPS is right Or at least by Friday.

Give apple crap about it and get your $8 refunded as I did yesterday. It’s not express shipping when it sits in the same place for days. Also I have friends that did not pay the $8 and are getting their phones before me. The $8 is a scam thousands of times over.
