Was sold on the Pacific Blue 12 Max Pro, but went to Apple today and the graphite looks amazing, especially if you’re using a case anyway. Decisions Decisions

I’m so settled with Pacific Blue. It looks so modern and futuristic.
Late reply but wow. My launch day phone needed a replacement and apple shipped me a new one with an ETA of Nov 18-25. It arrives Monday. I emailed Tim Cook and a exec store relations employee contacted me
Agree with that! Graphite is kinda ho hum.
My delivery date was Nov.6th at first, but now I don't know because UPS reschedule it the other day and has not updated it again. 😞
It’s a great color, but with a black or navy case, the graphite looks nice.
I like both, but I’ve been asking Apple for a blue iPhone for a few years now. On every survey Apple sends me where they ask about additional thoughts: I want a blue Pro Max! One year they asked about colors and blue was an option. I was so disappointed when Midnight Green was introduced instead - I figured it was the military vote that won out or something. But this year? OH YES, THIS IS MY YEAR!! Pacific Blue finally manifested! YES! Plus, I hate to say this, but Pacific Blue could be a one-and-done given Apple’s current history with retaining/changing colors each year.
As for cases, I have more than enough that will work with my PB PM. Blue isn’t that hard to match. The issue (as always) is finding quality cases that you like. Now, my husband has the Graphite. It’s sleek and goes with anything. He bought a black Caseology Parallax case that looks great. It has the whole Dark Knight look to it.
Try letting the cases decide. If the cases you like the most would work better with Graphite, go with that. Otherwise, Pacific Blue which is really the only correct option here, lol.

I’ve been lurking for a while around this thread. Excited for the 12 PM pre-orders! Got the 12 Pro but the battery performance had me worried, it’s like a 10%-15% of difference to my 11 Pro. I understand that a smaller battery and 5G are the main reasons for this. Love the size and feel of the Pro but taking a step back with battery performance to add new tech like 5G, it’s a deal breaker. They did this to futureproof the whole lineup but the real challenge for this is the battery, as its max capacity starts to dip. I bet this will be another concern for the Mini.

Several people got last week's phone on Thursday. Maybe. Hoping. For me it can't be the by 9:00 pm Friday delivery since I'm having it shipped to my work address, and that closes at 4:30.
Are you showing standard or express delivery? If it’s express, you probably won’t see it ship till about the 5th, and delivered the 6th.
Standard delivery. For some reason I just thought everyone was getting their shipment notices much earlier.
Hmm, interesting. If it’s standard, it definitely should be shipped by now. To be fair though, I didn’t get my shipping notice from Apple till the day before it was going to be delivered. If you have My Choice, it’ll prob show up tomorrow.
Apple support told me to check three days before preorder for pre approval.

I'm the opposite. After two years of spending 2+ hours in line with an "appointment" to pick up my phone with the iPhone Upgrade Program I said "never again" when they started allowing us to have our phone shipped to us.
No clue, just check any time of day on Wednesday. It's just a pre-approval you can do it at any time.
There is evidence that the Battery drain is a bug in iOS 14.1. Developers got 14.2 on Friday, so I'd bet for a release soon. See if that fixes your issue.
Did you ever sign up for cloud storage. I've had a 200gb plan for years. I wonder if storing on the cloud doesn't drain the battery as much. I'm not tech smart. Just thinking. I charge my 11 pro and 12 pro all the way before I go to bed.
Leave them unplugged over night. Use both phones till noon. Check the batteries on both, And they are the same.
