Ordered 2 iPhone 12 Pro’s on 10/24/2020 and just got an email this morning stating they’ll arrive on 11/05/2020. Looks like things are coming along sooner than expected, thankfully 😅
Ordered the 12 Pro on Thursday 10/29, just got an email it will be delivered 11/6. That’s is quick, love it.

And I finally got an UPS number for my Pro order. Supposed to arrive on the 6th now, rather than the 9-16 Apple has been telling me.
I ordered my 12 pro on the 17th, and get the same email date!

It was the 14th, which was 2 days before the order date for the iPhone 12 Pro. I hope we get the e-mail reminder for the Max by Wednesday.
To me, 3D Touch seemed faster. A harder press brought up the auxiliary menu instantly, and now you have to wait almost a full second.
I am on Eastern time, South Jersey to be more precise. I do feel for my distant Californians who now have to be up at 5AM. I will say, 5AM is better than the 3AM us east coast people endured for years! The funny thing is, last year I was in Vegas for preorders and of course, that’s the year they changed from 12AM PST to 5AM! Having the 12 Pro has made me even more excited for the Max. This design is timeless, I expect them to keep this design for the next several years. I can see Apple shrinking the notch, adding colors, and making camera improvements, but I think the design will remain the same for the most part. I am fine with that. I have noticed improved performance which is probably due the increased RAM, or maybe a combo of the A14 and additional RAM. 5G is actually fast around me, and my overall service due to the Qualcomm modem has been significantly improved. I still find myself using two hand for this device and I am used to 11 Pro Max battery life which has me leaning towards the Max. From what I’ve read, the Max will be slightly taller vs wider. I’m ok with a taller phone and prefer that vs making it wider. My poor thumb can’t handle stretching any further!
The e-mail date was the 14th, but maybe the pre-approval process actually started on the 13th. Anyway, it will probably be either on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. This will be the first time I have used the Upgrade Program to order. When the ordering date gets here, do I input my present phone as a trade-in or does it look different?
Hmm...Just learned that apple store near me is re-opening on Monday 11/2/2020. Not sure if I would want to do for in-store pick up, actually it's express pick up so they have the back completely blocked off. Or just deliver it to my house. hmm. decisions.
If you can do launch day in store pickup and take the time off from work to do it, go with pick up. Shipping process is a suspenseful and stressful process for an iPhone 😬
Yea I plan on doing it for the pro max hopefully it will stay open.
I was thinking about doing that instead of holding at UPS CC. Unfortunately, I am afraid that retail stores in my area (Chicago suburbs) could get hit with restrictions, since it happened to bars & restaurants this week.
Apple would most likely figure something out though.
