Yea when I pre-ordered the 12 Pro, it appeared on my UPS my choice app Saturday morning when I woke up.
I wouldn’t read too much into launch day. A lot of times the demand picks up. Not everyone is glued to MR like we are. A lot of people probably don’t even know new iPhones went on sale today.
256gb iPhone 12 Pro Max in pacific blue. Getting a November 24th-30th delivery which is fine. I didn’t order until about 20 minutes in. I almost forgot. I didn’t really need to upgrade, but I am a tech nerd and love to have the latest and greatest. Also, the better optical zoom was a big factor for me. I do a lot of work in the field and most of it requires gps/gis and taking pictures. This will come in handy for photos of raptors that you really ought not get too close to.
I think the reason is that Apple had those extra few weeks between model launches with the staggered release dates and were able to ramp up production so there would be more PM and Mini models available for today. 😎

There seem to be quite some technical issues here in Germany. People are being notified that their payments didn’t go through and I made a second order with our financing option which I got approved by the credit company like 7 hours ago and Apple still hasn’t been notified about it ...
also Apple Customer Service wasn’t available all day. They literally said to try again later. I know this BS from phone providers but not Apple

I guess I panicked for no reason -- I was worried about the initial launch, but there's a part of me that's been thinking how not everyone loves a Max or a Mini, let alone a 512 GB Max.
App changed from "Order placed" to "order in progress" for the iphone pro max and Processing on the site!
Do you remember when the 12 pro scans started? I think the first ones came in Saturday morning, but a lot of them showed up by Sunday night.
I think a good number of consumers really like the 12/12 Pro form factor and rushed to get it last month. Also a lot of "Max" users probably still have their 11's and don't feel like upgrading. Anyone's guess though.
Is the blue color in any size Pro Max still available for next Friday? Just curious.
Depends on the carrier. Sim free has slipped for all sizes. 128 and 526 are still Friday for Verizon.

I know the 526 is a typo, but thank you for posting the real "usable space" on the maxed out versions. 🤣
