Ordered 3 minutes after orders began, iPhone 12 Pro Max 128gb Graphite unlocked. Used Apple Account Balance (had 1400.00+ from gift cards throughout the year). Just checked and my Apple balance is now less that of the iPhone, so guessing they may have already charged me?

Ahh that is the reason then. If you order from Apple you can do a CC pick up as it ships UPS. Carrier shipping varies.

Granted this was a while ago and never ordered from ATT again. But they wouldn't let us hold them...

They never charge me until I check out and leave the Apple store when I do in-Store pick up 🤔 maybe a Germany thing

i ordered a phone, case and homepod mini. They already charged me for case since it says "ready for pickup" but pickup on 13th.
i don't remember getting charged till either a day or two before or right as you pickup....

Apple's Store finally went live for me at 5:27am. Got my order in for Pro Max, Pacific Blue, 512GB and also picked up a MagSafe Charger, 20W Power Adaptor, and Apple's Deep Blue Silicon Case. Nov 13 delivery on the phone.

I was not impressed with how Apple kept displaying the "Almost There, still putting the finishing touches on the store" message. When the store is supposed to be live at 5am and you got up in the middle of the night, that kind of message drives angst and worry. If it is as simple as the website is flooded and Apple's servers can't handle it, why not put up a message that says "Demand is high, but don't worry, we'll get you in as soon as possible"?

Not impressed Apple. That was a poor shopping experience.

The App Store launched precisely at 6:00 am (MST) for me... was done and making breakfast by 6:02 am.

I can tell you had a bad experience from your signature haha but yea, Apple online orders tend to go very smoothly.

I got 2 minis. The release date for the mini is Nov 16. So the first deliveries are Nov 17-19. If you wanted it on the 16th you had to pay for express shipping.

Mine is Jan 4th 2021 like you I ordered them after ordering Pro Max and was split between two apple online stores. Netherlands for iPhone and Germany for HomePod Mini's

For in-store pick up, you won't see a charge until at least after Wednesday!

Why deal with the hassle of going to the Apple store?

Personally doing an in-store pick up because UPS never delivers to my neighborhood prior to 4pm on most days. Also the pick up process at the store is ridiculously simple now. Just show up at my time slot give them the name/order number and within a few minutes they bring out the item and I walk away.

I paid with my Apple ID balance for the Pro Max plus Apple Care and a leather case. My Apple ID balance has been debited for the case only, and shows it’s ready for pick up.

Ordered a 256GB Graphite 12 Pro Max at Best Buy on AT&T at noon today. Should be at the store on 11/12 or 11/13. Otterbox Defender case. Zagg Blue Light Tempered Glass screen protector. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, got two USB C to lightning cables and two 18w Apple charging bricks. Lightning port dongle for 3.5 mm headphone jack and USB C port so that my existing USB C cable.
