The website worked better for me as well. The app kept giving me a error message when I tired to process the payment. I had no issues using the website.
Me, too. I had to keep pressing “Accept and Continue” in the app at least 50 times to get it to finally go through. I was afraid I was going to have 50 new iPhones ordered, lol. The app didn’t even let me in till about 7:05 Central time. It went well until time to accept the agreement and continue. Finally went through around 7:18 am.

This is my first time for my iPhone with Apple as well! I'm over the moon with excitement!

I got a taste of tracking a launch order with the 13" MacBook Pro earlier this year in May. It was fun just not nearly as massive as the iPhone usually is. My pre-order experience so far is good. I've done all that I can to make sure everything is smooth on my end. Let's just pray for good weather and smooth shipping!

The carrier upgrades were never this fun as this thread.

I guess the Verizon BOGO on the Pro Max should have been a clue now that I look back.

I think there was pent up demand for the iPhone this year since there was no typical September launch this time around. Outside of MR, most people just want their phone and aren't overly concerned on details. Waiting for November when we are so close to the holidays probably wasn't the plan for a lot of people. The carriers really pushed out some incentives to get people to upgrade to the 12/12 Pro as well.

Either way, whatever the reason, it helped me get the Pro Max for launch day delivery - Yeeeessss!

Yes I am happy about that especially since I couldn’t get in to order until 8:10am and the app kept displaying an error message when it came time to process the payment. I was afraid with the time frame I wouldn’t get a launch day device. I screamed with joy when I got that confirmation email with a date of 11/13 and I chose that as my day off for next week.

That’s how I felt when I ordered my iPad Pro in July. Waited over a month for it, but everyone had a blast on that thread. We were all tracking flights with Flight Aware. The thread is still going, too. This is also my first time pre ordering my iPhone through Apple.

Anyone else not seeing a "Cancel" button on their order? Usually my Apple.com orders have a Cancel button up until it goes to "Preparing to Ship."

What’s crazy is I remember the pre order for the XS Max and those dates slipped after about 20 minutes. If that.

I’m surprised Apple either prepped this well or their sales are down on the bigger / smaller models this year. Either way I’m surprised.

Yes, mine is showing it, too.
EDIT: Sorry, I misread. I thought you were asking if the cancel button was showing.

I think it’s because of the staggered release dates. Apple had extra 3 weeks to beef up the supply. At any rate, however it happened, I’m happy to be getting mine on release day! 😁

I hear ya. I think some impatient people got the 12 and 12 Pro and that was all she wrote. Oh well. Glad to see most of us getting launch day delivery!

iPhone mini black 256, Nov 13. Ordered right as they accepted preorders. Can’t wait! (though I won’t be home until a couple days later...)

The cancel button is NOT showing for me. Is it showing for you?

You could have it held at UPS CC. Mine opens at 7am.

Mine changed their hours from 8am to 10am, so now I have to figure out how to get to the hub while my daughter have virtual learning. I also don’t want to run into traffic since my hub is 35 minutes from my house. I may just have no choice but to wait on ups.

Edit: After looking at previous UPS packages delivered at my house, I may just wait on UPS, since they have came before 2pm in the past.
