Me, too. I had to keep pressing “Accept and Continue” in the app at least 50 times to get it to finally go through. I was afraid I was going to have 50 new iPhones ordered, lol. The app didn’t even let me in till about 7:05 Central time. It went well until time to accept the agreement and continue. Finally went through around 7:18 am.The website worked better for me as well. The app kept giving me a error message when I tired to process the payment. I had no issues using the website.
This is my first time for my iPhone with Apple as well! I'm over the moon with excitement!
I got a taste of tracking a launch order with the 13" MacBook Pro earlier this year in May. It was fun just not nearly as massive as the iPhone usually is. My pre-order experience so far is good. I've done all that I can to make sure everything is smooth on my end. Let's just pray for good weather and smooth shipping!

I guess the Verizon BOGO on the Pro Max should have been a clue now that I look back.
I think there was pent up demand for the iPhone this year since there was no typical September launch this time around. Outside of MR, most people just want their phone and aren't overly concerned on details. Waiting for November when we are so close to the holidays probably wasn't the plan for a lot of people. The carriers really pushed out some incentives to get people to upgrade to the 12/12 Pro as well.
Either way, whatever the reason, it helped me get the Pro Max for launch day delivery - Yeeeessss!
