Woo hoo, did you get a launch day delivery date? I was worried about you this morning, seemed you were having issues getting the store to come up. I hadn't seen an update. Happy for you!!

Yes I finally got through at 8:10am, received the confirmation email at 8:11am with a delivery date of 11/13! My card was also charged a little while ago. I’m beyond excited now. Thank you for asking

Me, too. I had to keep pressing “Accept and Continue” in the app at least 50 times to get it to finally go through. I was afraid I was going to have 50 new iPhones ordered, lol. The app didn’t even let me in till about 7:05 Central time. It went well until time to accept the agreement and continue. Finally went through around 7:18 am.

I was so frustrated with the app I was ready to give up. I kept thinking there was no way I would receive a launch day device, but I made the cut.

What’s crazy is I remember the pre order for the XS Max and those dates slipped after about 20 minutes. If that.

I’m surprised Apple either prepped this well or their sales are down on the bigger / smaller models this year. Either way I’m surprised.

I’m thinking it had something to do with the staggered launch dates. Maybe most people didn’t want to wait 3 weeks to preorder the Max or Mini and ordered the 12 or 12 Pro?

Yeah, they always seem to be in anguish over not getting any info from their carriers regarding their orders, the orders arrive willy nilly, etc. I always prefer to buy from Apple over the carriers

To be honest, I may go this route every year. I’ll just trade in my phone to Apple every year and trade up to the next phone.

Phew...Kept getting interruption error on iOS app, desktop site wasn't up until a few minutes ago, and was finally able to place my order on apple.com via laptop.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, Graphite, 256GB, delivers Friday 13th.
This was the headache I was getting also. I was fearing the delivery date would slip a week or more. (Which clearly isn't the case still as of 5:30 ET).

Also feared every time I "Placed Order" , enter security code....the order really did go through and I just bought 25-30 iPhones. 😆

Gave up on the app, the order went though on my desktop when the store finally came up on my end...after stopped showing "Almost There" screen around 8:11am. Order placed 8:14am. Delivers 11/13 :)

Never had issues with the Apple Store app until this morning.

That’s the exact same message I kept getting so after the second time it popped up, I said forget this and used my laptop to complete my order from my favorites and was done within a minute.

Yes I am happy about that especially since I couldn’t get in to order until 8:10am and the app kept displaying an error message when it came time to process the payment. I was afraid with the time frame I wouldn’t get a launch day device. I screamed with joy when I got that confirmation email with a date of 11/13 and I chose that as my day off for next week.

I didn't get in until that time either, at least not into the military site. Verizon app was fine. The Apple store app on my iPhone seemed fine until I tried to check out and got an error saying that I needed to call in. Not sure what happened there when I have more than enough on that credit card. I prayed that the launch date hadn't slipped when I finally got into the website which also had a weird flow, but it took everything, including the same credit card I had on file.

I'm just happy that it processed and it will be here next Friday. My beautiful blue iPhone that I've always wanted. I'm so thankful... especially after Comcast knocked out my cable/internet service this afternoon, but that's whole 'nother story, smh.

there's still a lot of stock on the iphone mini and max and colors cuz maybe of the pandemic.. so we have waited for two weeks for the pre-order of iphone mini and pro max.. now this time we have to wait a week to get our iphone hopefully...

Well I woke up at 5AM for nothing.. demand was not as high this time around it would seem.
I think they just have a handle on manufacturing now and probably time the pre-order well to be covered by inventory. Plus they aren't designing phones with special materials (*cough*jet black iPhone 7*cough*) that take forever to manufacture. I know SJ liked a little bit of scarcity and how that drove sales but I think TC likes happy customers better.
